Good situation - easy walk to all facilities

Pros: Friendly and helpful staff and situation.
Cons: Private bathroom facilities for all rooms.
Location: Good location and everything only a short walk away.
We were allocated an apartment a short walk from the main guesthouse. This gave us a kitchen and our own bathroom - a great bonus! The breakfast at the guesthouse was very good.

Good value for money.. When booked in advance.

I was pleased with the hotel & thought it was great value for money. However, this is because we booked in advance with discount from the ebookers app. Others we spoke to had paid more for a last minute booking. The staff were very friendly and helped us with booking our trips. We were very pleased with the location and always got a space when parking the car. The bed was comfortable, rooms were warm & there were facilities to prepare food. The towels could have been better but did the job. Happy with our overall experience.

Late check in was no problem. Very clean rooms and the shared bathrooms also. Great value in Reykjavik city center.
