Good location, looks like just remodeled ，looks like new, but little dusty, but they have big kitchen, I am very happy that, we can cook myself good food, when I come back into town, I like to be stay this apartment hotel again.

Great location & comfort, lacking in necessities.
Very nice location at end of shopping district. Loved having space to spread out and 3 bedrooms was fantastic. Bathroom was very spacious. Only problem we had was limited toilet paper, and when we called to ask for more (1.5 rolls for 5 people with 4 nights stay), they advised would be dropped off next morning… and none was ever dropped off. Thankfully convenience store across street had for highly inflated price.

The hotel is beautiful and in a great location. The room was clean and newly remodeled. The self check in was easy. There was no front desk, so we ended up going to the store across the street to buy toilet paper, but that was the only issue we had. I highly recommend this hotel.

Great experience, but minor complaints.
The apartment was nice, very comfortable, and well-located. However, we did have a few minor complaints. The lack of a microwave proved problematic during our first night because prior to checking-in, we were out and about trying different food in the city. As a result, we had quite a few takeaways we wanted to save for later only to find out our unit had no microwave to reheat them with upon settling in. I’m sure a larger unit might have them available, but for the smaller studio style apartments, be wary of takeaways. The other thing was the lack of an exhaust vent for cooking. We cooked breakfast in the unit but was worried that the smoke might set off an alarm. Also, we could only open one tiny window to let out the smoke. It got a little smoky in there at times while we were cooking breakfast, but it didn’t prove to be too much of an issue. Also, the exterior trash room outside the building was extremely messy and nasty and full of flies. We’re not sure how often that room gets cleared, but during our stay it was filled with so much garbage and smelled extremely bad. We did not like going in there at all. Other than these things, we would definitely consider Hlemmur suites for a future visit and we highly recommend them.

Excellent Stay in the Heart of Reykjavik
I recently stayed in a 2-bedroom apartment suite in Reykjavik and was thoroughly impressed. The suite was spacious, with modern decor that gave the space a fresh and inviting feel. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything needed to prepare meals, making it easy to enjoy a home-cooked meal after exploring the city. The bathroom was clean, large, and well-designed. The suite’s layout provided plenty of room, making it perfect for families. One of the standout features was the location. Situated right in the heart of downtown Reykjavik, it was within walking distance of numerous restaurants and attractions. Whether we wanted to grab a bite, visit a museum, or just stroll around, everything was easily accessible. Overall, Hlemmur Suites was an excellent choice for our stay in Reykjavik, combining comfort, convenience, and style. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city!

It was better than I expected. the condition of the property was better than the pictures. Only complaint was I wish they could have left 4 towels instead of two. The facility was EXTREMELY clean. The refrigerator and freezer were standard size. plenty of room. A full set of dishes and cookware were in the suite. Excellent. I would stay there again!!!!

Great location. Poor communication.
Location and room condition is amazing. Communication from property manager is very poor. No way to contact them after checkin. Also, would be nice to have things like steam iron in room or on the floor where customers can get it.

Clean and very quiet. They don’t have parking but we parked down the road for free. It was very easy to check in. Only issue I saw was construction around the apartments but that didn’t bother us.

The property is located in an area with restaurants and a supermarket. It is also located around the corner of bus stop #9 which can be used for pick-up by tour operators for doing day trips. The apartment is hypermodern and very comfortable. The only inconvenient thing is the late check-in, seeing how most flights to KEF reach early morning. We tried getting an early/earlier check-in but the owners were not accommodating at all in that regard.

We stayed in a 3-1 which was perfect for our needs. We were on the 4th floor, so the street noise was fairly faint, though I could see it being a bigger issue on lower floors. Note that there is major road construction happening near the building so figuring out how to get there via navigation apps was a challenge (we ended up parking 2 blocks away and walking).
