Beautiful views
The home was just as expected. It had a nice rustic feel similar to my grandparents cottage. The views were spectacular. The dogs loved running around and wading in the lake. The one big downfall was the extremely rusty water. Many of us ended up with orange hair. Water softener was not working. Overall we enjoyed the stay but the water needs to be addressed

Slice of paradise
This was our second visit to Voyager View. Location is stunning as you’re on your peninsula. Dogs were in heaven! Close to boat rental. Fishing from piers was not as fruitful as our last visit. Located in the chain so access to many other lakes with a short boat ride. Interior is clean and has all the necessities. Would have loved to use the fireplace but was closed for repairs. Exterior could use some love but overall a great place to stay in Eagle River and plan to return.

Amazing Location
This property is in an amazing location on the Eagle River Chain. We loved how we could dock our boat right out the door, and hop in and go. They even supplied wood for the firepit which was awesome. The property is definitely dated, and could use a refresh. There seemed to be spider webs on all of the windows and the floors were dirty. The layout of the place was great, but the secondary bathroom tile is in need of repairs. The kitchen has the absolute basics, but didn't have some of the needed supplies such as salt and pepper, plastic wrap, or even enough dishes. These are all items that are not necessary, just we didn't bring as usually they were supplied. Overall we would stay here again as the property and location were amazing!!!

Great Time at Voyageur View
We had a great time at Voyageur View! The views of the lake were amazing, and we were conveniently located to other lakes and downtown Eagle River. The cottage could use some upkeep, but overall, it was very nice.

Pretty good
House was nice for four adults, which is what we had. Would be fine for larger family but would not have been for 3 couples (unless one couple was ok sleeping in bunk beds). Nice screened in porch. Location is partway through the Eagle River chain so easy to get to other lakes but more of a pass-through lake with a lot of boat and jet ski traffic just off the point, no real swimming area here though there is a beach one lake over. Our only real complaint is the landlord could have supplied the property better. We ran out of dishwasher pods and toilet paper about 2 days into the week and a Britta pitcher would have been nice as the tap water was not great.

Unique property
Highly recommend! Contrary to other reviews the home was clean and offers all the necessities you’d need. Home has a vintage feel that we appreciate but modern kitchen and baths. The peninsula is a really neat setting. fishing was great. Caught enough blue gill, perch, and crappie for a fish fry. We hope to rerun sometime soon.

Great time in the Northwoods
Amazing location and a very nice property. No AC made it hard to sleep with the house at 82 degrees. Maintenance also never showed up to resolve an issue with no lights or microwave in the kitchen. Other than that, the trip was a blast.

Great property, poor cleaning
Absolutely fabulous location with all the amenities to enjoy a relaxing stay. This is our 5th visit to A voyageur view but the first time we have experienced issues with cleanliness. We arrived to find a coffee maker that was still full of coffee and coffee grounds from a previous guest, crumbs on the top of one of the bunk beds, potato chips on the floor & a straw on the picnic table bench in the screened in porch and dog droppings in the yard. The fresh clean smell that I remembered from our other visits was not there this time. We still enjoyed our stay at this fabulous place, but unfortunately had to spend much of the first day cleaning as we did not have confidence in how thoroughly this had been done, given the above issues we found on arrival. The property manager did very promptly reach out to us to discuss these issues.

Needs work. Management company will not return calls.
Property is lacking in maintenance. Backdoor broke and per other review has been for over a month. DirecTv did not work. Listing said A/C bur has none. Property people said they were going to make adjustment but can’t get anyone to call me back. Sad and frustrating.

owner milking property for gain Not for renters
Property management was great Tv did not work; owner did not make an effort to fix it. Radio did not work. Horrible rust in the water. all ice, glassware, sinks, toilets were red or orange. Frying pans were corroded teflon. Many cracked coffee cups. Light bulbs out, door lock broken, bath tub drain did not work well (standing in water when taking a shower) Hard to get to dock because of roots and uneven footing. It is a beautiful place and well situated. A shame not to take care of it. I would like a refund for some of the rent due to the owners lack of responsibility to us. We loved the place and would rent again if it was taken care of.

Anniversary getaway
Location is beautiful with the house sitting on it's own peninsula! We really need to come back in the summertime! It was wonderful to be able to have both our dogs there with us too! We enjoyed the use of a real fireplace every night while we were there. I highly recommend a restaurant that is a very short drive from there called "Catch 22." We had a fabulous Anniversary dinner there.

Perfect location in the “North Woods”
Property is surrounded by water and in a beautiful setting. Since we enjoyed Thanksgiving here the fireplace came in handy on the cold snowy nights. We chose this property because it is pet friendly. Our Labrador had a blast running around. The home is very nice and spacious. We loved the “ wall of windows “ looking at the water. Only thing missing was a can opener 😬 Beautiful place!
