The property was without water for two days prior which i was not informed of until i had arrived for check in (after I had already paid for the room). The toilet was full of feces, cigarettes, cigars, tissues, etc. The room smelled like an ashtray. The room had a balcony but it was locked and allowed no access to attempt any type of ventilation. elevator was not in service. The stairwells smelled like urine and there were people smoking in them. There was a guy siting on the table in the hallway of my floor rolling up weed. The ground outside was covered in ice with no salt. I checked out after 2 hours and the property was not even willing to refund
Half of the property is abandoned with signs on the windows literally saying "dangerous and uninhabitable." The elevators were broken and the amenities were boarded up (i.e. the "gym" was boarded up, the breakfast room was boarded up, etc.). Half of the lights in the hotel lobby/hallways were not on or dimmed. There were multiple people clearly living out of their car and sleeping in the parking lot. It was very unsettling.
In our hotel room we found the following:
· The door handle to our room was broken and was coming out of the door
· There were an egregious amount of stains and various odors.
· There were brown and green/yellow fluids on the underside of the mattress.
· There were crumbs and broken glass on the floor
· There were bugs crawling in and out of cracks on the ceiling
· Various wires were pulled out of the wall and looked like they had been stripped for copper
· The fire alarm had been ripped from wall
· The toilet was clogged
We asked for another room, but it was in a similar state.
We took pictures/videos of everything and went to the front and asked for a refund and to cancel our stay. They let us cancel but only offered to refund a fraction of what we paid. (We are still waiting on the refund!). We had to end up finding another place to stay last minute.
They should not be allowed to continue running or have an Expedia posting. The place is clearly about to close down and is in violation of various safety/health codes.
DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! This place is best down and disgusting!! No room service in site our room was filthy! Makeup on the bed. Some type of white stains all over the bed and FLOOR it’s disgusting! The front desk lady had no remorse nor did she care about the concerns raised about cleanliness and overall safety!
I am amazed that this property is not condemned. This is what I found during my very brief stay:
Couldn’t get in through outside door
The door to inside was propped open with a piece of wood
While getting my bags out of my car I was approached twice by people asking for change.
The lock on the door was broken in half
The commode was cracked
The bathroom door handle was barely on
The fabric chair was stained
The desk chair was missing 2 wheels, which I didn’t realize until I sat down and fell over
The sheets had dark spots on them
The closet shelf was gone
I have pictures if I can post/ show them to someone.
It was the worst stay experience. Hostel condition was worst. Broken furniture. Very unsafe surrounding and people. They show main building in pictures and its closed for stay. And ask to live in nearby apartments owned by hotel. They offered breakfast in package but breakfast room was locked and it was not served. Not recommended at all.
When I arrived the heat was broken in the lobby. My room smelled like mold. The towed were dirty. The handles were broken off of the dressers. Elevators were broken as well. I immediately returned the key and asked for a refund. They told me they could not refund that I would have to contact Expedia.
Customer service workers was disrespectful. There was people in the hallways who wasn't even guest was doing drugs in the stairwell. The sheets on the bed was dirty and the pillow cases had blood stains on them. There was no tissue in the bathroom.and there was roaches on the walls as well as in the tub.I was only there for 5 minutes. Didn't even take my coat off. Im 46 years old, and that's the worst hotel I've ever ever ever been in. Everyone, please stay away.....
We didn’t stay here because there was no hot water available that day. We arrived late at night to check in, only to be informed that hot water was not available. As a result, we had to search for another hotel on a cold night with children. It was a very unpleasant experience. We expected Hotels.com to notify us in advance so we could have made alternative arrangements. This was a very disappointing experience with Hotels.com’s service.
