Was told the room I booked wasn't available due to a problem with Expedia. Told me there were only two rooms left ( about 15 cars in the parking garage). Told me they would do anything to get me a room there. Calls manager. Taps computer keys furiously. Sweat forms on brow. Pumps fist in victory. Downgrades my king size to a crappy double queen. At just about the same cost ! I'll probably search harder next time I go to Richmond.

I’m not a fan of holiday in but we got in late so we just needed to stay the one night. It’s a newer hotel which is good but it’s just not as comfortable to me. It did include breakfast which was convenient. It wasn’t bad, it was ok.

Is not my first time staying in Holiday Inn Express but this one is the first one that in my room I can here every single car pass at the street I’m stay at the 6 floor. The staffing are great and the service 5 start. But the property need to be more clean and the parking lot is $20 for a day a I feel is dirty and insecure for anyone even the staff. Their no security member at the property.

This was a bad experience as the hotel appeared dingy, the elevator floors were dirty and the bathroom tub was rusted and I was not able to give my son a bath. The toilet seat was not cleaned properly as it had pubic hair behind the lid. Horrible experience and I would not stay here again.

The Location was perfect for the VCU graduation we attended and getting around was easy. The room was comfortable and roomy/bed was excellent. Staff was very good other than getting extra pillows was difficult (we asked for some and were told that they didn't have any but would check.. He did "find" 1.. Thought it was odd that a hotel didn't have extra pillows.
