Excellent hotel. We booked an airport pick up which we had to change last minute due to missed connection flight. Contacted the hotel and this was sorted with no issues and driver was waiting for us. The hotel was lovely and all staff very polite, the lady the checked us in and out was very nice and informative about the local area. Our room was the cheapest option and suited us fine. Plenty of room and had coffee/tea making facilities. It had everything we needed for our stay. The location was very central and a 10 min walk to the House of the Blackheads. Everything was within walking distance. We booked a Segway tour with the company next door to the hotel to get a better idea of our bearings and to get an insight into the history of Riga which helped us aswell. Would definately highly recommend the Grand Palace Hotel to anyone wanting to visit Riga.

Excellent location and the reception staff are always willing to assist with booking restaurants or trips. Our only slight annoyance was having no tea/coffee tray or kettle in the room, but its not enough of an issue to cause a fuss over.

Excellent hotel in a great location for the main attractions and restaurants. Unfortunately there is significant building work around the hotel causing some noise and disruption. Also breakfast no better than average and the pleasant bar is very expensive.

Every time we visit this beautiful town we always stay in this hotel. It’s Very clean, comfortable and beautiful rooms. Staff as always most accommodating ! don’t forget to spend the evening in there restaurant for the dinner , Food and service is wonderful!

Excelent hotel to use for a Riga visit - tight in the old town, so easy to get anywhere. Excellent breakfast. Nice room, very clean. All the staff were great, very friendly. Hotel has a very nice cocktail bar - although sitting inside with smokers takes some getting used to! Good extractor fans though.,
