Comfortable room & bed in very good location in Copacabana. Excellent shower head with lots of water flowing out (I had great cold or warm showers after a jog on the beach or full day sightseeing). Rooms had a safe and hair dryer (inside drawer in bathroom vanity). Breakfast buffet was plentiful and diverse, and the servers were helpful and pleasant. I would gladly stay in this property again.

Best place to stay in Rio! Breakfast was perfect and the rooftop view was outstanding. Via the concierge, we booked a tour to see Christ the Redeemer and Sugarloaf and it was well worth every Rial!

The hospitality during our stay at the Windsor California Copacabana was next level. From the front door, to the front desk, and every one in their dining/service, the staff at the Windsor California Copacabana were collectively beyond exceptional in every way. The surrounding area is unequivocally breathtaking and this hotel was the perfect place for our stay in this stunning city. Do not hesitate adding their breakfast for your entire duration here - further, do not miss dining in for at least one evening. We had their duck ravioli, mushroom risotto, crispy buffalo mozzarella and finished with the panna cotta and it was easily one of the most exquisite meals we enjoyed during our trip. Rio De Janeiro is a special place but it's the people here that left one of the most indelible marks upon our experience. Could not recommend this hotel enough.

The hotel was in a great location on copacabana beach. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable with recommendations of attractions in the city and spoke very good english. The first night i could not sleep due to the constant whirring of the aircon near the room so next day was moved to a lower floor away from the source. Be aware you may also be allocated a room that faces the interior of the hotel so have no view of the beach or sky such as the one I had, but luckily i was not in the room much during the day and could get a great view from the rooftop pool of the beach and surroundings.

Great location right in the middle of Copacabana Beach. We arrived early and they checked us in, held our luggage, and texted us when a room came available. They also provided a room for us to change in so we could explore the area while we waited. They also held our luggage for us on the day we checked out so we could explore the city some more before our flight that night. The room was super clean and the rooftop pool (while small) offered an amazing view and had a nice restaurant right beside it to enjoy at the pool. We absolutely loved our stay here!

I didn't like how front desk employees though they were making you a favor by staying in their hotel. Most of them they wouldn’t acknowledge you and were rude. I think they need to have better customer service.

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. All requests we had were turned down. Apparently, Netflix are not allowed in hotels but when we connected to our own wifi, it worked. There was a hair in the vent of our shower which is disgusting. The key cards always goes broken and the solution provided, is for us to stop to concierge everytime we go in and out of the property. VIP from Expedia felt like it was useless either. For the third time now, booking to a vip hotel did not end up in an upgrade. It ruined our vacation because our room is facing a wall. It was so bad. Terrible experience from Expedia vip program and the hotel.

Hotel on the beach, decent pool and breakfast was ok. Staff very helpful and rooms a decent size. Aircon didn't really work very well, asked that it be checked,no one came. No VIP extras.
