Luxury 2 Bed Apartment in the City of Ripon, close to the Cathedral with Parking

Hidden in a secluded courtyard off the main road and through a small tunnel you will find this luxurious Two Bedroom, Two Bathroom, First Floor Apartment in a brand new complex of just seven apartments. The original bricks were lovingly cleaned and then reused, in order to build this exclusive, gated apartment development, within easy walking distance of the City Centre.

Comprising a large, light and airy open plan kitchen/sitting room and two double bedrooms. The Master Bedroom has a SuperKing bed, the Second Bedroom will be made up as two Twin Beds but can also be SuperKing if preferred, (please advise at time of booking). There is an ensuite shower room as well as a second bathroom with bath. You will find plenty of cupboard and drawer space. The Master Bedroom even boasts a walk-in wardrobe!

Our aim is that you will feel at home immediately.

Following a shower or bath, using branded toiletries, wrap yourself in a soft towel and then curl up in a fluffy bathrobe whilst you decide whether to go out to a local restaurant for dinner or to stay in and cook in the well appointed kitchen. You will find ice in the freezer for that pre-dinner tipple.

Later, sink into your supremely comfortable bed, made up with luxurious, hotel quality cotton bedlinen, as you head into the Land of Nod.

In the morning, the Nespresso machine will provide you with the first coffee of the day or perhaps you prefer tea made in a proper teapot? Either way, the necessities will be provided for you to get the morning started at your own pace.

Despite being the third smallest city in the UK, Ripon has plenty to offer, with the imposing Cathedral and a wide variety of museums.

Ripley Castle, Fountains Abbey and Studley Royal Gardens are all close by.

There is a good selection of restaurants and pub/wine bars in and around the market square, just a five minute walk from your apartment, or you can venture further afield to one of the local villages where there are some excellent pubs or perhaps to the buzzing metropolis of Harrogate which has many restaurants as well as the famous Royal Baths and Betty's Tea Rooms. Do feel free to ask for our recommendations.

We are, of course, on the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors and Dales, beautiful in the summer but they can be impressively forbidding in the winter (think Cathy and Heathcliff!). Bronte country is not far away.....

Castle Howard and Harewood House should be on everyone's list of "places to visit", whilst for the horse racing enthusiast Ripon, Thirsk and Wetherby Racecourses are all nearby.

A stunning day out in God's Own Country is guaranteed, whatever time of the year and whatever the British weather deems appropriate.


Back in your apartment after a busy day exploring you will find all the essentials like a dishwasher, washer/dryer even an iron and ironing board (if you really must - you are on holiday after all) and a hair dryer in your bedroom.

Drop into the comfortable sofa or armchairs and relax in front of the TV. Perhaps watching something on Netflix is appealing? It is included in you rental.

Alternatively choose from a selection of books to read and games to play.

There is, of course, free wifi throughout the apartment so that extremely important email will not be missed.

Great place to stay
Very good location - close to the centre, only minutes away. Lovely accommodation- almost like a posh hotel. Plenty of space - open plan kitchen / living area. Welcome basket. Much nicer than the photos. Would stay again.

The flat was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The shower was great and the beds were extremely comfortable. Few minutes walk from Ripon market place. We would definitely stay here again.

Comfortable flat in centre of historic town
This apartment is well-appointed and comfortable; good firm beds and well-shaped easy chairs (not the soft man-eating things so many rental properties have) make it a good choice for people with creaky backs. Everything worked, including the wi-fi (which we really needed for the online booking of visits to local attractions which the Covid restrictions currently require). The apartment is very close to the centre of this attractive historic town (ideal for car-free visitors like us), and even closer to the group of good local restaurants in Kirkgate (we particularly recommend the authentic Spanish tapas at Manchega), yet despite its central location is incredibly peaceful. There's lots to see and do in and around Ripon, and we strongly recommend a visit.
