The staff was friendly and courteous. The breakfast was great too. However, the air conditioning was not working well in our room and the hallways. The air conditioner in the room was so loud, it was hard to sleep. The floor was dirty also. For the price we paid, we would have expected better.

Liked the location and the food and patio area. Didn't like the fact that there was no microwave in room or coffee maker. Also, when neighboring doors opened sounded like someone was opening your door. Music too loud!

Nice for short stays

Had a pretty good short stay at Tru. We stayed 2 nights while we visited Carowinds. The hotel seemed newer and was clean. Breakfast was served but we never made it downstairs on time to try it out. There was a welcoming are with board games and patio area with lights, very pretty we didn’t used it. The room was spacious and clean. The beds, bedding and pillows were clean but just not as comfortable as we hoped they would be. Still was nice to have a quiet clean room to come to after the long day at the park. There was a mini fridge in the room but no microwave, we had to go downstairs to use the microwave located in the lobby. There is decently priced sundries that can be paid at the lobby or charged at the room. Our stay was nice and quiet, staff was very friendly and helpful.

New property, easy check-in and check-out, clean, plenty of parking space, good breakfast (stopped at 9:30 am, not at 10:00 am as told the night before), coffee 24/7.
