Great place to stay in rockport! Felt very high end. Definitely will be coming back. The only thing is, since it’s an older building the fan in the bathroom kept making a weird noise. But it was also very windy, so that was likely the reason.

A beautiful property with clean, modern rooms. Only a short walk from the town. Easy access to get into the room via a code. Bed and pillows were like sleeping on clouds. Lovely hot shower. Self catering. Owners are happy to answer any questions. Would highly recommend. We would stay there again.

It is a beautiful old house turned into a hotel. There is no staff, but they were easy to get in touch with via text. It is an old house and the wood floors are a little creaky so he will hear some noise from other guests, but nothing that you can’t deal with. Very convenient to downtown Rockport and a nice little sitting area for coffee in the morning.

Didn't like first: The window in the bathroom had two screws loose, allowing more cold air to come into the bathroom even with the shade pulled. The whole room needed more lighting - it was difficult to see in various places in the room! The right curtain closest to the heater side of the bed, would not close entirely; it seems to be somehow off the upper track - had to fix that, too. Did like: the house architecture was gorgeous, and ice available in the sitting room was a welcome sight, the bed was nice and hard, the covers warm and cozy, the mini-fridge and Keurig nice additions. Didn't Like: hard to figure out at first how to get in the building, we didn't have the link to the code at first and there were almost too many online instructions, from Expedia and Rockport House separately. Check out was nice to be done online. Was glad to be accommodated for by having a first-floor room since I walk with a cane. The direct phone line to the house was well answered in times of need. Beautifully landscaped & situated with plenty of on site parking. Clean room & common space. A little strange with no one there but no trouble contacting rep when I had trouble finding my code to get in the room. Bed, bath & shower were perfect & clean. Just a short drive to beautiful Rockport, 10 minutes from Gloucester & 25 minutes to Salem. A minimalist room with everything you need, I would definitely go back!

A beautifully presented 1890’s house which has had a complete refurbishment this year into a boutique hotel. Situated in a nice residential district of Rockport, within walking distance of the town. It’s a lovely town with cafe restaurants many small shops and art galleries. Remote check in and check out which worked but I’m of an age where I prefer to see a person at reception for any problems. Would definitely recommend.

Quaint lil' home away from home
The room was easily accessible, very clean with plenty of linens . Self service check in and check out. I was impressed with the spacious living quarters, large fridge and roku tv. I would definitely recommend this quiet retreat whether passing through or here for an extended stay.

What a great place. Girls trip to the coast so we stayed in the double room in the carriage house. The room was so comfortable and clean and cozy. Great location a short walk from downtown. The bedding was so nice.

Amazing place to stay
I loved this place! The room was very spacious and had a great mixture of aged/modern deaigns. The entire property and surrounding area was beautiful. The bathroom was immaculate, and it actually had great lighting (very helpful for applying makeup). It's definitely worth the money, and I wish we could have stayed there longer.

We loved our stay at the Rockport house! Very reasonable price, clean, gorgeous bathroom and room, and walkable to town! It was the perfect home base for our weekend away to visit Salem and Gloucester. It’s important to note there is no staff onsite but that wasn’t a problem for us. We didn’t have a problem; but they were pretty responsive to text when we had questions. It was convenient to have a keurig in the room with plenty of coffee pods to choose from. Wish they had more creamer options and herbal teas in the main lobby but that didn’t subtract from our stay at all.
