Summary:
Welcome to Maple Moon! Located in the heart of the Daniel Boone National forest and nestled atop a scenic cliff, this spacious cabin offers breathtaking views of the surrounding forested valley. The cabin boasts four bedrooms and three and a half baths, making it perfect for a large family or group of friends. Maple Moon is just down the road from many local attractions like The Gorge Underground, RRG Zipline, Natural Bridge State Park, and RedPoint BBQ.
The Space:
This luxurious cliff-top cabin is thoughtfully designed to accommodate guests with comfort and style. Inside, you'll find two spacious king bedrooms, each featuring its own en-suite bathroom, providing a private and relaxing retreat. Additionally, there is a cozy queen bedroom and a charming bedroom with two twin beds, which are connected by a convenient Jack and Jill full bathroom. A half bathroom is located off the living room for added convenience.
The living space extends seamlessly to a huge back porch, which can additionally be accessed directly from each of the back bedrooms through their private doors. The porch is furnished with comfortable seating, perfect for lounging and taking in the stunning views. A hot tub on the porch offers a soothing way to unwind after a day of exploring the surrounding nature.
KITCHEN- For all the home cooks, The cabin's fully stocked kitchen is a culinary haven, equipped with everything you need to prepare delicious meals during your stay. It features modern appliances, ample counter space, and all the necessary cookware and utensils. For coffee enthusiasts, the kitchen has both a drip coffee machine and a Keurig, ensuring you can enjoy your favorite brew every morning. Whether you're cooking a gourmet dinner or whipping up a quick snack, this kitchen is designed to meet all your needs with ease and efficiency.
Outdoors, guests can gather around the fire pit for evening conversations and marshmallow roasting. A black stone grill is available for those who enjoy outdoor cooking.
All of these amenities make this cabin an ideal destination for both relaxation and adventure.

Guest Access:
Guests have access to the whole cabin, including laundry access, hot tub, private grill and fire pit outside.
The Neighborhood:
Located in the Shawnee Run Development off Glencarin Road, Maple Moon was built in 2024! There are many other cabins located in the development. Our aerial photos should give a good viewpoint of the area and proximity to other properties.
Getting Around:
Centrally located Between the Souther Region and Northern region of the Red River Gorge. Maple Moon sits between highway 11 and highway 715 off Glencarin Road.
Travel times to Local attractions!
5 minutes to The Gorge Underground
10 minutes to the RRG Zip line
10 minutes to Natural Bridge State Park
10 Minutes to Red point BBQ restaurant
Other Things to Note:
Each cabin is unique to specific items they include, however, RRG Getaways supplies the listed items below at all cabins as a baseline for guests. A starter amount of the following: hand soap, paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, dish soap, dish pods, laundry pods, and basic cleaning supplies. Any additional items needed will be the guest's responsibility to supply. We do not supply anything considered perishable or consumable, this includes but is not limited to, coffee, salt, pepper, oil and the like.
This cabin is pet friendly, We charge a $30 pet fee per reservation with us. Please be sure to include your pet in your reservation. If you do not see where to do this, reach out to us.
Pets: We ask if you are leaving your pet unattended in the house, that it be in a crate to limit damage. Luckily, most places in the area are pet friendly so they can tag along on all your adventures!
Blackstone Grill: We have disposable grease trays for guest use, and we ask that after use, any excess is scraped off.
Personal toiletries are not provided, but we do have hand soaps and body wash at the cabin.
Coffee and K-cups provided as well as basic spices and seasonings.
Firewood is not provided. But easy to find as many locals sell it nearby as well as the Daniel Boone Coffee shop.
To get to Maple Moon you will have to drive on a mostly flat gravel road for the last 4 minutes of your drive. 4wd/AWD not required.
