LOVE this Hello Sky Hotel Room here at Rome Fiumicino Airport! It is an excellent choice for an overnight stay! The agent at reception was so wonderful & kind to us when we checked in. Our double room with a queen bed was super comfortable for a good night’s rest after long haul flights traveling from Hawaii to Italy! And the convenience & location is incredible! All we had to do was walk from baggage claim in terminal 3 to get to this hotel. Took less than 5 minutes. This is a wonderful hotel and well worth the price we paid. We will definitely stay here again when we’re back in Rome! Oh and we had the most delicious marguerita pizza at Rosso Pomodoro in Terminal 1, just a couple minutes walk from the Hello Sky Hotel! For the dining options alone (even the hotel offers food at great prices!), we made the right choice to book this hotel.

Perhaps it’s only for the convenience
This hotel is decent for a night stay before my early departure. The shower area could use a deep scrub cleaning where the dirt and soap buildup along the tile baseboards. The laminate floors in the living area also needs a good buff. It looks quite dirty.

The place is a hole. The shower was so filthy. I had to put a towel on the floor of the shower to have a shower. I got bites on my arms. It was just disgusting. There were damaged walls in the rooms with watermarks and just outside the elevator on the main level there was water dripping down on my husband‘s head.

What a disappointment for the price. 343 EUR for the night. Bathroom tile was discolored and molded. The faucet fixture had the chrome worn off. The AC could not be adjusted. There was a big circular stain on the comforter. Disgusting. It has a great location but the room (110) was tired, old and not worth half the price.

The hotel had the appearance of a no-tell motel hourly rate point. It is old, with a stained shower carpet, pitted metal appliances. I would recommend it to no one.

Great airport hotel
We really enjoyed our stay here! We picked a room for four people (three adults and a baby) and loved how big the room was. It was clean and comfortable, and the fridge was stocked with more drinks than were used to getting free. The staff members were nice, and checking in and out was easy. Also the hotel is connected directly to the airport terminals, so it can’t be beat for convenience. We’d recommend!

We had an early morning flight out of Rome and were concerned about getting to the terminal early so that we could take care of checking luggage and getting Customs VAT refund in plenty of time for our flight. Additionally, we were returning a rental car at the airport the evening before leaving Rome. Staying at Hello Sky was PERFECT! The walk from car rental return to the hotel was all indoors and took just 2 minutes. Additionally, it’s just a 3-minute walk from the hotel to the terminal, all indoors and all signage clearly marked. We checked into our clean, quiet and safe hotel room and then did a “trial run” to the terminal to understand what we’d need to do in the morning. Having all this knowledge under our belts, we were able to sleep well in a quiet room with a comfortable bed, take a refreshing hot shower in the morning, and make our way to the terminal early enough to eliminate all stress. I had read a few negative reviews before booking at Hello Sky, and I’m so pleased to say that my experience was STELLAR and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.

Comfortable place to sleep at the Rome airport
The hotel is good for what it is - a place to sleep at the airport. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. The bathroom could use some work as the shower overflowed all over the bathroom floor due to a very slow drain.
