Close to the Vatican

Lovely stay at this residence. This is the second time here in 12 months would definitely recommend it to everyone.

Excellent family half term break

We enjoyed a wonderful half term holiday in Rome. The apartment was clean and spacious, ideal for a family of five with three young children. The staff were very polite and welcoming. The breakfast buffet had a good choice and we were well looked after by the waiting staff, confounding my husband's warning to the children that 'Italians don't go in for breakfast '. The residence is ideally located for all sight seeing with a five minute walk to St Peter's Square and about ten minutes to the Sistine Chapel. We also reached the Pantheon, Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Forum and the Colosseum on foot but with a weary nine year old we often took the Metro back. We decided to take the Aurelia's local restaurant recommendations and enjoyed several good meals at La Caletta and the Goose Inn. We self-catered one evening and found the apartment equipment quite adequate for a simple evening meal. The Aurelia is near a railway line but the noise did not particularly bother us, this might be an issue in summer if you wanted to spend more time on the balcony. Our family had a great time and would not hesitate to return to the Aurelia.

perfect for a family Rome trip

good value for money for a family trip with 2 older children (ie separate rooms). location is nice close to Vatican city and about 30min walk to downtown sites and restaurants. Staff very friendly. Breakfast ok but simple (no sausage, eggs, cheese, etc)

Pros: Nähe zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten; Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis
Location: Ganz in der Nähe des Vatikans
Die Residence war in etwa so wie beschrieben. Die Appartements waren geräumig, aber ein bisschen kühl. Auf Verlangen hin haben sie uns aber sofort einen Heizofen hingestellt. Das Hotelpersonal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Residence ist sehr gut gelegen; wir konnten zu Fuss zum Vatikan laufen. Ansonsten ist die Bushaltestation nicht weit entfernt. Die Residence liegt an einer relativ befahrenen Strasse, aber uns hat der Verkehr nicht weiter gestört.

Hotel ist sehr Zentral gelegen Bus in der Nähe

Pros: Sehr freundlich und hilfsbereites Personal. Sehr reichhaltiges Frühstücks Buffe .Sehr grosse Appartments.
Location: Das Hotel ist ganz in der nähe des Vatikans man kann in gut zu Fuss erreichen. Div. Restaurants in der nähe gute Beratung im Hotel.
Sehr schöner Aufenthalt es gibt viel zu sehen viel vergnügen.

Gemütliche Residenz mit freundlichem Personal

Pros: Die Lage direkt beim Vatikan, in der Nähe von den Bushaltestellen. Das riesige Appartement mit 2 grossen Balkonen. Die Einrichtung war sehr gediegen.
Cons: Die Dampfdusche bräuchte dringend eine richtige Reinigung (Schimmelbefall bei der Aufhängung).
Location: In der Nähe des Vatikans, ist recht ruhig gelegen, da es einen kleinen Park rundherum hat.
An der Reception wurden wir sehr freundlich empfangen und es wurde uns jeder Wunsch erfüllt. (genaue und ausführliche Infos betreffend Sehenswertem, mit welchem Bus von wo, auch einen Fussballmatsch wurde für uns runtergeladen, sodass unsere Männer nichts verpassten). Das Frühstück auf der Dachterasse (5 Euro/Person!) war toll, auch da mit sehr zuvorkommendem Personal.
