We arrived after a long flight to a friendly, welcoming family like environment. You couldn’t ask for a better location. Walk 2 blocks to Trevi fountain. Walk the other way to Spanish steps. The hotel recommended restaurants that were top notch. Whenever we needed a taxi or info, they were helpful. The bar/restaurant area staff were fun and made us feel relaxed. The rooms were clean and comfortable with many amenities. This hotel was the perfect pick!

A hop and a skip to the Spanish Steps and the Trevi Fountain and other interesting places. Loads of restaurants close by to choose from. Very Very friendly staff - not just the check in staff but ALL the staff were helpful, ready to assist and shared a friendly greeting as they passed by.

Great Location but needs an update.
I’ll start out by saying that the hotel is in an EXCELLENT location, which is the main reason I reserved it…extremely close to the Metro, Trevi Fountain, and Spanish Steps. We had 2 rooms, as a family of 5. Both rooms were quite small. The air conditioning doesn’t get “American” cold and actually shut off in the middle of one of our nights. It was about 84°F/28°C overnight (100°F during the day) so it got HOT. The other nights were still not as comfortably cool as we like them because the A/C wouldn’t cool the room enough. The elevators are TINY…3 people max. My claustrophobia got the best of me on that and most of the time I walked the 4 flights of stairs instead. Both rooms had showers with a slanted ceiling (we were on the top floor) you could hit your head on and a very slippery tub to stand in. Oh and there were quite a few ants in the one bathroom. The attentiveness of the front desk and service in the breakfast/bar area was great…you can tell they worked with what they could. I just think the hotel itself needs to be updated/upgraded. I feel it was the happenin’ place back in the day (based on the outdated decor) but needs a facelift to become that again.

Hotel was conveniently located, 8-10 minute walk to Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps. 15 minute walk to Pantheon and 20-25 minute walk to The Colosseum. Multiple restaurants and outdoor cafes nearby as are quaint shops. Lovely place to stay!

We had a wonderful stay at lovely Hotel Dei Borgognoni - we have stayed here before & again another delightful time. The hotel is located in excellent location between Trevi Fountain and Piazza di Spagna. The hotel front desk staff are polite, friendly, & helpful - especially Luca and Ahmed. The breakfast staff are friendly and kind - especially Paulo! Also Massimo was very kind and helpful. The hotel is decorated nicely with a large beautiful, relaxing sitting area - with sofas and tables, and always available cold water with lemons or herbs. There is also a very nice cozy bar. There is a quiet charming atmosphere in the sitting area and bar- not loud and chaotic. The breakfast is included and offers a wide selection of tasty items: eggs, sausage, cold cuts, breads & rolls, pastries & cakes, cereals, yogurts, fruits, some veggies, and oranges to make your own fresh-squeezed juice, teas, coffees - (the cappucino is excellent!) Our room was nicely decorated and extremely comfortable and quiet, we were delighted to have our own private patio with table & chairs.The room was well appointed with fridge, coffee/tea maker, safe, large closet, large comfortable bed. It was extremely comfortable with good air conditioning. The bathroom was spacious with nice toiletries, big towels, large tub with shower head. Bedroom & bathroom were spotlessly clean and the cleaning staff were friendly & extremely efficient. Thank you Hotel Dei Borgognoni & Staff for a fantastic 10 star stay!

Great hotel, so many to choose from in Rome but we were very happy with our choice. Great location to many sights and restaurants and yet the room was also quiet at night because we faced a lovely back courtyard. No complaints at all and the staff was great! Breakfast was very nice too.

The location was an excellent choice. We could walk to Trevi, Spanish Steps and the Pantheon from hotel location. We had a family type room for three and it was very nice. Need to update laundry form, very archaic. We were traveling for two weeks and needed to have laundry done. F/M wear t-shirts. No city views, but breakfast was wonderfully presented every morning by their wait staff. The rest of the staff were helpful too. Bellmen greeted you and were cheerful at the door. We felt safe in the city hotel. We definitely would stay again when we return to Rome. .
