We really enjoyed our trip to Rome. The only things I could feed back to the hotel are: - I was expecting a bigger hotel room, (the photographs make the rooms look really big but in reality they're small) - The bed sheet wasn't very soft so I wasn't very comfortable in bed. - The shower was tiny and the water is VERY hot. The shower door folds inwards too making it really hard to get in and out. To make matters worse, it's easy to accidentally knock the temperature dial and the water is boiling hot, its dangerous! - Whilst there was a kettle and tea/coffee in the room, there was no milk. I asked at reception if there was any milk available, they said they would have to charge 5 Euro. So I didn't have a hot drink in the room! - This isn't hotel specific, but bare in mind there's a city tax now at 10 Euro, per person per night. Overall a lovely stay but next time I will try a different hotel. I'm not sure how it constitutes to a 5 star hotel. It was very average.

Comfortable room. Friendly helpful staff. Good value accommodation. Great location. But, the breakfast cost sets a European record. £6 for a cup of hot water teabag, £5 for a glass of watery orange juice, bacon to sole your shoes with, inedible dry toast with no butter. I could go on but I feel sure that £42 for a simple breakfast should discourage all potential future guests.

The hotel was in a very central location in Rome, near the Pantheon and via del Corso, with many key sights in walking distance. The rooms were very clean and spacious and the staff was very nice and helpful at all times!

The Spa facility was very nice and just what we needed.. The rooms and common areas were immaculate.The staff was freindly and eager to help. Due to central on street City location there was a lot of city street noise but we anticipated this and brought a sound machine to mask it. The rooms were not dark for those that require blackout to sleep. Lots of light comimg in around doorways from Bright it Halls and panels with red lights in the room. This is only bothersome if you require Blackout conditions to sleep. If you do bring a mask. I did.It was a very lovely hotel. The breakfast was very nice. A lot (too much lol?) brought to our table.I do recommend to place some plastic cups or non breakable water bottles in the spa area. The glass service was very elegant but broken glass in a spa creates a hazard. Your staff was very attentive. Thank you for a lovely stay!

We would recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Rome. The 5 star rating is fair for pretty much all parts of the hotel. We were let down by the size and functionality of the shower, but this was made up for by the amazing breakfast. The breakfast offering was truly one of the best we have ever had. The location is absolutely perfect, close to major sites such as the Pantheon and Trevi Fountain, but a convenient walk from others, too. If and when we were to return to Rome, we would stay at this hotel again with no hesitation at all. Thank you for allowing us to celebrate our anniversary in such a lovely place!

Walking distance to the main sites so perfect for a short stay in Rome. Was given a free upgrade to a suite but it had a jacuzzi bath. Whilst there was a hand held shower, there was no shower curtain so water went everywhere!

New boutique hotel with very lovely staff. Location is excellent. Decoration and flowers are very good. Fully renovated. Miss. Julia was very warm and friendly in all aspects. Just don’t book the cheapest room, there is a big quality difference. I will definitely come again to have the excellent break-fast.

We had a great stay at the Hotel Caravita in November. The rooms were clean. The beds were comfortable. We were less than a 5 minute walk to the Pantheon and Trevi Fountain. The best part of Hotel Caravita was the staff. Ricardo took care of our airport transfers which were smooth and very reasonably priced. Marika worked at both the front desk and the restaurant. She was helpful and friendly and set up a few dinner reservations for us in the area. Guilia took care of us each morning at breakfast. The breakfast was very good, but Guilia was so friendly and helpful that she made the start of each day perfect for our family. We can highly recommend Hotel Caravita for many reasons, but most especially the friendly, enthusiastic, professional, and helpful staff.

It is not a 5* hotel

The hotel is not what they advertising. And most of all is NOT a 5* establishment. We have been given room with the jacuzzi in and when filled up with water all sort of dirt came out of the nozzles. No separate shower available. As for 5* hotel you would expect to have standing shower and other combinations. We have complained to the reception but there was not much help and above all no other rooms avaliable. We have been ofer a new room on the next day, but also this room needed some serious improvement ig skirting boards, shower head full of lime scale, worn mirrows, extraction unit rusty and dusty. Both rooms were tired and need some upgrading if they want to call themselves a 5 star boutique hotel. Dont full yourself with rating, definetly not worth the money.
