It was a nice day. The hotel was nice and clean nice and safe it’s on top of the restaurant so you do hear some noise but they usually shut down around 1030 11 o’clock.

We arrived late but instructions on how to get in were clear. There was a kettle and herbal tea and coffee available in the lobby. Location was ideal but at a reasonable price. Will definitely stay again and recommend to others.

A great place tucked away from the busy street
A great little place that is on top of some random street. It's such a quaint hotel with comfy beds, nice washrooms and showers and very courteous staff. AC worked as intended, which is super important when you're talking about the 35 degree weather. Would book again for sure, is a short walk to everything worth seeing in Rome.

Clean but difficult
We never saw anyone at the reception. You have to climb about 50 steps just to the hotel. Then about 30 steps to our room. Way too much for two girls with large suitcases and no help. The room and bathroom very clean and nice.

A guest house in the perfect location
Overall a great place to stay for the location if nothing else, you can walk to all the key tourist attractions in a variety of directions (Colossseum, Vatican, Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon). And on top of this, the immediate area is great for restaurants, bars, shops, etc - a great night time vibe, not too touristy, busy with a mix of locals and tourists, we ate and drank at some great places. As other people have mentioned, this is more of a guest house than a hotel so just need to bear that in mind. Check in is fine, just be sure to arrange your time of arrival in advance. Rooms are nice and comfortable, I wouldn't spend much chill out time here (in terms out our room anyway) as it was quite small and a little dark, but the bed was super comfy and a great shower, also who needs to chill at the hotel when you are in Rome. There is just an espresso machine, kettle and tea bags in the reception area with little plastic cups. No milk provided but there is a shop over the road. It would be a nice touch to add actual porcelain cups to the rooms etc (for us English tourists anyway!) nice friendly staff who make you feel welcome. Be aware there are steps up to the main door, and also some rooms are a further flight of stairs up as well. Whenever you leave or arrive you will always find someone having their photo taken on the stairs outside as it is quite pretty!

I stayed 6 nights in this property. First issue was that staffs were not available almost all the time, I could only see them 9:30 ~ 11:30am each day. so when I had issue, I couldn't contact them (there is no phone, and almost all the time their internet connection not available!) Second issue was their internet connection not available. If you need internet connection to arrange your vacation plan and to connect to online relax in your bed after exhausted day, this is not the place. I stayed 6 nights in this property and barely had the internet connection, total of less than 5 hours for 6 nights stay. Owner said it is not her problem and connection in that area, but I can see no issue on the restaurant outside. I had to carry my laptop ad search for places every night to connect internet to arrange my plan. So frustrated and so disappointed, my wife was so angry every time we get in this property. Third, bathroom sink and shower not drain, and of course staffs were not available at that time, I had to take out all the dirty black tar kind of things out of the drain to clean by myself. The night before I leave, I tell owner that I will "complain" about these, so hopefully she listen what I'm saying, she cut it and say, "this is guest house and if you want full service, you better go to the hotel!", so I didn't feel to say anything anymore. The property is about 30 mins walking range in many good places, but no benefit since we take buses all the time to save energy anyway

Great staff, very help. Our luggage was lost and they helped us call the airport service and assist with translation. Nice place, good location in relation to the sights of Rome. Important to note there are a lot of stairs, so there are probably people who wouldn't love that aspect - but it made the place so unique!

The staff were incredible. So helpful and kind. The hotel is beautiful, in a great location. Central to everything! The room is small, but super nice. The bathroom has recently been redone and its lovely. Highly recommend.

I liked its location. It was walking distance to all the main places in Rome. 20 minutes from the Vatican. 25 minutes from the Colloseum, 10 minutes from the Pantheon, 15 minutes from Trevi Fountain.

I had a very hard time with check in...basically, there was no check in. I got in late, which I had warned the staff, who stated no problem. It took an hour for me to locate the inn, as the road is quite small, locals kept sending me to a different road, and the inn was not marked. (A portable sign had been put away.) When I finally found it, there was no one there to let me in. Finally, another guest came and let me in, but there was no one to show me my room. Another guest came in and told me keys are left in the door. As there was only one room with a key in the door, I assumed it was mine. I sent an email explaining this, and received one stating “we told you how to get in the building.” ( I don’t believe this was the case, as I did a search of all my emails.)They asked me to be at the inn at a certain time the next day to formally check in. I was there, but nobody ever showed up. I never actually saw any staff. Other than that, the stay was fine. My room was comfortable, the location convenient and charming. I do recommend this place, as a good value, but make sure if you can’t get there early that you know how to get in the building and find your room. Also, there is a great little gelateria at the bottom of the stairs...a little bonus.
