Cute place in a nice neighbourhood. A little rustic. Noce landlord but perhaps better pre visit communication would help

It was advertised as 3 bedrooms but it had 2 bedrooms and a sofa bed in the living room I paid for 3 bedrooms

Very surprised and disappointed
Upon arrival we were surprised by an awful smell..turns out a soiled baby diaper had been left behind. The apartment was also quite musty smelling. I have allergies and found my time spent in the apartment quite stressful. Also, the booking pictures did not accurately match the apartment. The bathroom is quite moldy, towels are thin and given we rented the place for 5 nights a few extra would have been warranted. The pillow cases were thin and worn with holes. The kitchen was sparsely equipped and not very clean. We ran all the dishes, glasses and cutlery through the dishwasher before our first meal. Having more then one cereal bowl would have been delightful! The couch was covered by a yellow tablecloth! I was quite embarrassed when my uncle wanted to come up and see the place when he dropped us off one evening. Needless to say we will not be staying here again when we visit Rome.
