Clean comfortable rooms. The staff were friendly and helpful and there is a good choice of food for breakfast. If you want a drink or evening meal the adjoining restaurant and bar is a great choice.

Staff were really polite and helpful. Beds are a bit stiff to sleep on but water pressure is great in shower. Green king pub just next door which is great. Overall really enjoyed my time there

From the minute we entered the hotel and were greeted by a lovely friendly and chatty lady, our brief stay was fabulous. Great room, fabulous food both evening meal and breakfast, all staff attentive, friendly and genuine. Best bit? A proper key to the room, not some daft card that works only when it wants to. We'll be back. Thank you for a lovely stay.

A comfortable stay
I have never stayed in this hotel before and found on arrival numerous car parking spaces for ease of access to the main building. The staff were very sociable, professional and helpful. The room was very comfortable with plenty of space and ample tea/coffee supplies to ensure an enjoyable stay. Spacious bathroom with lashings of hot water and spotless. Special thanks to the cleaning staff who ensured my room was in perfect condition on my return after a long day out.

Easy to find and easy to park outside hotel. The bar was a bit roudy and the food choices are a bit limited to mostly fried stuff. The bedrooms are in an annex adjacent to the hotel which was a bit disappointing as it then feels like a budget motel type room. The room itself was quite small but adequate, overlooking the carpark. There was a bath which was a plus point. The bathroom had an odd smell to it, possibly a damp smell. Room was clean. Checkin and check-out were fine. Staff friendly. Cheaper than staying in sheffield and about a 20 min drive.

Avoid unless looking for a Hostel
The staff was lovely, the upkeep of the property is terrible. I was placed in a handicap accessible room in the annex. The room was very dark and dreary. Bed was hard has a rock, carpet was threadbare and the bathroom was nothing less than institutional. The water pressure was so strong you could not get warm water in the sink and the shower sprayed into the sleeping area. The hot water went out and was not fixed during my stay and no options offered for a hot shower or explanation given. I did appreciate the fan as there was zero airflow in the room. The restaurant food was good as was breakfast.
