Come and enjoy a peaceful retreat that is designed to help you relax. Located just five minutes walk from stunning Lake Okareka and close to the Redwoods forest and Blue Lake, this beautiful location is the perfect place to get into nature and unwind.

This suite consists of a spacious bedroom and attached ensuite, sun room and kitchenette.

The property is pet friendly, and has a fenced section. Guests have access to a large deck, wood BBQ and outdoor bath.

There is a heater, blockout curtains and a washer/dryer.

The neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful, and only a 15 minute drive to the centre of Rotorua. There are many beaches, playgrounds, biking and walking tracks and tourist attractions such as Rotorua's Buried Village within a ten minute drive.

When it is booked out, there will be nobody in the rest of the upstairs of the house (the whole upstairs including the studio is available to be booked under the listing "Adventure at Lake Okareka.") The downstairs of the house is a separate, self-contained flat that has permanent tenants. They have a separate driveway and entrance, and there is no internal stairway.

Tranquillity amongst the stars

We had a bit of a hiccup on our arrival. We contacted host whom replied quickly and solved the problem immediately. We loved our stay near Lake Okareka. We travelled into Rotarua to enjoy hot springs and mud baths. Go to Redwood Butchery in Rotarua - delicious lamb cutlets and scotch fillet!!! The bath was delightful on the deck - we are used to starry skies but this was the most stars ive ever seen. Enjoyed listening to the birds, watching the night sky - shooting stars and moving satellite s. The bed was very comfortable. We were provided with all our needs. Would highly recommend staying here.Weloved

What a beautiful place in great location.Short stroll to Okareka lake walkway.Accommodation great for our old dog, with fenced garden and beautiful deck.Communication with Jessica was excellent!We loved our stay and highly recommand this place.Thanks so much!

Great stay at Lake Okareka

This is a lovely property in a nice, quiet neighborhood. It is clean and well appointed. Lake Okareka is less than a 5-minute walk and has a wonderful walking path around the lake. The host was great to communicate with. Air conditioning is listed as an amenity, but there is actually no air conditioning. We slept with the doors and windows open, so it was not an issue. There are so many things to do and see in the area! It takes about 15 minutes to drive to the center of Rotorua from this property. Rotorua has many restaurants, all with great food. I would recommend this property.

Quiet spot of paradise

We loved our recent stay here! Such a beautiful, quiet place. We were cozy and warm - especially loved the outdoor soaking tub. Very cute little place and at an affordable rate. Will definitely stay again!
