Beware mold issue and lack of communication
We really wanted to love this place. The house itself was nice. Great location. Very relaxing. The main floor and top bedroom floor were highlights for sure. Comfortable master bedroom. Great balconies. Nice kitchen. It was a little warm in the summer with no A/C you need to blast the fans, but it’s not a deal breaker. Worse is the upstairs shower has a strong sulpher smell. We also live on a well so we understand a sulpher smell, but this one is stronger than what we expected. It’s not the most pleasant. I recommend this property for 1 or 2 people since the upstairs bedroom was the only usable one. Unfortunately, the property has a severe issue with mold on the bottom floor, making it completely unusable. The smell was strong, and it was evident that the mold problem had been present for some time. This drastically reduced the usable space and comfort of the accommodation. Even more frustrating was the hosts' unresponsiveness. Despite multiple attempts to contact them regarding the mold issue, they were slow to respond and did not take any immediate action to address the problem. This lack of communication and assistance was disappointing and added unnecessary stress to the stay. I’m in the hospitality industry and I’m not one to complain unnecessarily. But people should know the issues we experienced so they can know what to expect.

Nice location, nice house. The view would be better if the the owner trimmed the trees between the house and the ocean view. The clothing dryer is missing the filter and doesn't work.

Home's water had rotten egg smell
From the time we arrived to the time we left actually a day early the water had a very strong rotten egg smell many emails and phone calls to the management company and it was never resolved. We had to shower and wash dishes in rotten eggs. The home was nice, the mgt. company not recommended. I think owners should have access to guest/mgt company real time communications to head off such a bad guest experience.

Great place for dogs
This is a great place especially if you have dogs. The only advice I would give the management company is to leave directions to the transfer station or better yet take the trash for your guests at the end of their stay. Putting smelly trash in our car wasn’t great. All in all though, it was a great place for a family with dogs!

Peaceful setting, awful parking.
Overall a nice quiet home located at the end of the road. Area was beautiful and the weather was very pleasant. My only complaint would be the parking. The parking area appeared to not have been mowed in months. And it required a fair amount of manoeuvring of my midsized car to turn around to leave.

Uncomfortable without heat.
The heat was not working when we arrived. We had hoped to make it through night without it, but could not. I felt it was too late to have someone (not a technician) arrive after 9pm to attempt to correct. The assistant manager and I agreed someone would come out in the morning, but the night proved too cold for us to stay any longer. Bottom line is the should have been working upon our arrival. Place not set up properly. This is the first and only time this has happened to us. Thank you.

It was ok but could have been a home run
Was very basic. Things are a bit weathered /old. The 2nd bedroom is the basement and we were on a cement floor. Some vinyl flooring would have been much better. And no TV in the 2nd bedroom. The 2nd full bathroom had some major paint peeling like 12”x10”. There is no real access to the water no clearing no chairs no fire pit which was a big shame , the neighbor to the left had a beautiful set up. Now they did supply some binoculars which were great to see some bald eagles. But all in all was just ok some TLC would make it a 1000 times better.

Don't stay at this property
Cleanliness was poor. Inside and outside of property. Nails sticking out of the floor. No trash bags, dog poop all over the outside of the property. Lights on deck did not work.

Loved this Home. Perfect location!
Wonderful house! Nice, quiet area! Loved watching the eagles and Lobster boats! Easy to get to many of the areas restaurants and places to visit! My husband already booked for next year. My only comment is to have a broom to sweep! Everything else was perfect!

Modern, comfortable home with a beautiful view
We stayed here with my brother's family, which included a few small kids. The space is very nice, clean, and easy to use and the view of the water is amazing. The floors are all wood or cement (in the basement) so not the best for babies, and you can hear pretty much everything throughout the house between the floors. But it is exactly as it looks in the pictures and is a great place to stay.

A nice winter vacation, but not “perfect”
The house has a great layout and a lovely setting, and the management company is very responsive. The challenge is with the details: the furniture isn’t all that comfortable, the kitchen is kind of randomly equipped (e.g. about 5 frying pans but no ladle or baking sheet), and the living room only had bright overhead lighting. These things might be less of an issue in the summer, but for a winter vacation you want comfortable furniture with good lighting to read a book or do a crossword puzzle. The listing should state you need 4-wheel drive in the winter as we found the last stretch of the road was pretty much a sheet of ice. Overall we had a good week at the house but it could have been even better.

Fall in Maine
My husband and I stayed I at this home for 6 weeks. It is a lovely property. Wonderful master bedroom, bath and main floor living. The second bedroom is in the basement and that area is not as inviting but manageable. Just realize that it is concrete floor and noisy with boiler and dehumidifier. Overall the listing is very much as shown in pictures.

Nice little place on the water in Maine
We had a good experience with an easy check in Defined the house was clean, spacious and suitable for family with kids. The kitchen was nicely stocked with all that you need to prep a meal, the house comfortable with a fan, proper bedding materials, and a nice shower. The house itself is on three levels with the main bedroom and master bath on top, the main floor with a Roku-connected TV, reliable Internet service and Wi-Fi that was accessible throughout the house. there’s a main deck with some outside furniture and a lower level deck that communicates to a stone walkway down to the waters edge. There were some dense vegetation between the house and the water that afforded privacy, but slightly kept the water out of view. However after a one minute walk, you are sitting on these beautiful rocks. I had my coffee down on the rocks and found it quite relaxing. The area itself is wonderful, round pond is great and the food there around round pond was spectacular. Who doesn’t enjoy a shore dinner on a beautiful summer night? We like the area and we would be happy to stay at the same house again!
