About this property

Modern mountain guesthouse w/hot tub access and 5-15m to many local activities

Stay in a modern 1-bedroom guesthouse with hot tub access, queen bed, deck, grill, firepit, electric fireplace, TV/WiFi and pastoral mountain views. Situated on a 42 acre property with hiking/walking paths to explore and nature to observe. We love how close we are to Shenandoah National Park, historic places/landmarks, wineries, and breweries. We are close to grocery stores (3 miles), historic areas (Montpelier, Gordonsville), wineries/breweries (Stone Mountain, Montifalco, Patch, Bald Top), hiking (SNP, Preddy Creek), and venues (Lydia, Barn at Edgewood) and centrally located near Charlottesville, Gordonsville, Massanutten, and Harrisonburg.

The space
The guesthouse is situated next to our main residence and is ideal for couples or friends looking for a quiet and relaxing stay in the mountains at a private residential (we live in the main house here!) 42-acre property that is away from the city, but still close enough to things to do. Meadow Springs is located conveniently to the Shenandoah mountains, outdoor activities, Virginia wine country, Civil War trails, historic places/landmarks, Massanutten Resort, and the cities of Charlottesville & Harrisonburg.

Sleeping accommodations include a private bedroom with a queen size bed.

There is plenty of space indoors in the great/living room to sit down for a meal and to get cozy on the couch watching DVDs or enjoying the indoor electric fireplace ambiance during colder months.

The kitchen is fully equipped with stove, microwave, coffee maker with reusable filter, blender, toaster, and dishwasher to make meals. Enjoy the coffee/tea, oatmeal, and snacks we provide during your stay.

When the weather is nice explore the 42 acres by walking the hiking paths or just sitting on the deck enjoying the meadow and Blue Ridge Mountain views with a glass of wine by the gas fire pit. Grill your favorite meal while eating outside on the attached deck or soak in the sunset in the hot tub located in our field overlooking the meadow and mountain views. Note that the hot tub is not located next to the guesthouse and will require walking outside to the field (bathrobes provided).

Guest access
The driveway is gravel and shared with the main residence. The guest house is in a separate building attached to the garage on the property, next door to the main house. The guest house is accessed by using a coded lockbox and key or unlocked at arrival. Parking is available adjacent to the guest house.
We live full-time in the main residence and use our outdoor common spaces daily. You will likely see us and our elementary-aged children outside during your stay.

We hope you love the Guesthouse @MeadowSpringsVA and feel at home during your stay.

Shenandoah Valley
Great central location to stay to explore the Shenandoah Valley area. Modern and clean. Kitchen stocked well with cookware, dishes and utensils to make meals on site if you choose. Beautiful view and trails on the property to hike. Close to antique shops, gas stations, dining, shopping and historical sites.
