Fantastic stay at the Hotel de la Coupole. Amazing hotel with sweeping views. Great food, great service. A nice oasis in the middle of Sa Pa. Convenient and close to everything.

Absolutely stunning property. I booked a private suite for extra money and it was totally worth it for the huge room I got. The pictures online don’t do justice to the place, you have to stay and experience it in person. 10 out of 10.

A gem in the clouds of Sapa.
From entrance to dining, the hotel exudes the decadence and flamboyance of a French colonial past. This hotel is truly luxurious and although a bit pricier for Vietnam it is so worth the extra for the lovely stay it gives. The swimming pool is so outstandingly lavish. By far the best pool we’ve ever swam in. The staff are very friendly and go beyond to make sure we were looked after.

five star experienced, everything is grand, from the entrance, to the room and to the restaurant. Food buffet in the breakfast is also satisfying, plus the breath taking mountain view from the restaurant.

Great hotel in sapa
I stayed here for 2 nights with my girlfriend. Its one of the nicest looking hotels ive ever stayed in. Perfectly located in sapa near local transport routes and walking distance to plenty of places to eat. Bed was comfortbale and breakfast options were great. Great service from all the staff too.

Loved the unique themed interior design, the convenience of location. Definitely one of a kind. However I do feel like for a 5 star hotel the services were kind of “meh. The bar staff took more than 15minutes to serve the cocktails we ordered despite there only being two other guests in the bar. The room service alcohol of just gin and ice would take over thirty minutes and when I asked a hotelier where I would be able to rent a bicycle she told me the shop across the road I could get a motorbike but otherwise I would have to look it up ourselves to get a bike. I think this was a let down as when you stay in a 5 star hotel run by M group, you would expect exceptional service as well. The doorman were lovely and other reception staff very attentive esp with luggage. Wish the standard of service was with all staff. I also feel like for a five star hotel putting a disclaimer for not changing bed linen for the duration of your stay is a little strange. I didn’t see this for the other M Gallery hotel I went to in Vietnam

This hotel is an attraction in its own right. The attention to detail in the architecture and interior design is impeccable. All staff were very friendly and helpful. The one area for improvement would be the dining. The quality of the food is only average. There are better options in Sapa at much lower prices.

Location is good for everything. Sunplaza is exactly there. However, the main door and balcony door locks are faulty. Also, my room faced ferris wheel light bulbs at night. I requested a change but the staff only suggested a room but a garden view. Thus, we decided not to change rooms but to have faulty door locks to be fixed.

Loves: The Indochine decor and baroque style architecture. The bright mustard yellow facade. Being able to converse with reception comfortably in English. The gorgeous Grand Bassin. Room for Improvement: M Coupole offers priority queue for the monorail up Fansipan, but we were told the first train leaves at 8:00 when in fact it starts at 7:30 am. You can understand our chagrin at realizing this since we were on a tight schedule to go up Fansipan and return by 12 pm that day. Right across the street is a lovely row of shops - it gets very loud with techno (?) music all the way up until about midnight so bring earplugs if you need to sleep early. You only get 2 tiny bottles of water each day and you’ve to call housekeeping for more. They don’t change your in-room slippers each days.
