Our four-season cottage in Northern Ontario is perched above semi-private Denvic Lake. This is a rare opportunity to enjoy a private lakefront, as only homeowners and guests have access to the water! 
Surrounded by old growth forests, Denvic House provides all the amenities of home amidst a breathtaking natural paradise. We comfortably sleep 6 in 3 cozy bedrooms along with a pullout couch, and now an additional 4 guests in our 2 bedroom loft. The Loft sits beside Denvic House and will remain empty for groups under 6. Denvic House has a fully equipped kitchen, 3-piece bathroom, laundry room, a large fire pit in our enchanted forest, 2 kayaks, a floating "party island", and plenty of family games. Oh, and wifi! We offer Starlink Internet so you can reliably get work done remotely! 
This secluded getaway sits on 4 acres, all of which are yours to explore. Enjoy swimming, kayaking, hiking and fishing for pickerel in the summer months, and ice fishing, snowshoeing and snowmobiling on the nearby OFSC trails in the winter. Oh, and don’t forget to look up at night! We welcome stargazers from across the globe to enjoy an unparalleled view of the Aurora Borealis (Northern Lights), unobstructed by light pollution. We offer flexible weekly and monthly rates, making Denvic House the perfect choice for an unforgettable getaway. Book your stay with us today and experience the ultimate Northern Ontario escape.
The Space: 

Bedrooms: We comfortably sleep 6 with 3 cozy bedrooms, including 2 queen beds and one double bed. We also include a pull-out couch. Each bedroom includes pillows and linens, clothing storage, and phone chargers.

Kitchen: This baby is fully loaded. We have you stocked up with all the kitchen essentials to make your favourite dishes. This includes first-rate appliances, salt, pepper, garlic & onion powder, oil, vinegar, coffee, tea and sugar. Take dinner outside if you prefer and cook on the Weber propane BBQ, which also overlooks the lake.

Living room: You'll feel like you have the comforts of home, in the middle of nowhere. Gather on the comfortable sectional that also doubles as a pull out, log into your favourite streaming service on our 55" smart TV, and unplug with our selection of board games, books and adult colouring materials.

Bathroom: Enjoy this spa-like 3-piece bathroom which includes hair and body wash, blow dryer and other toiletries.

The Loft: The other dwelling you may have noticed in our photos in Denvic Loft! It sits atop a 2-car garage and is right beside Denvic house. The Loft offers 2 additional bedrooms (queen beds), a full kitchen and a full bath. It's available for groups larger than 6 people. If the loft is not required for your stay, it remains empty. The rate for the Loft is $50/night per additional guest.

Outside: Take advantage of the fully fenced in yard that attaches to the wrap around deck. Enjoy dinner on the outdoor dining table and coffee on our adjacent patio set, or at the multiple picnic tables situated throughout the property. It all overlooks the lake. Finish off your evening with s'mores by the fire pit in our enchanted old growth forest. We provide all firewood and kindling.

Food: There's lots of food options, including a lodge restaurant less than 2 minutes from us (open during summer months). There's diners, cafes, local shops (antiquing!) and groceries all within 25 KM, and a restaurant in Spanish Ont. that will deliver to you! We also have a lovely Mennonite community close by who sell farm-fresh eggs, grass-fed poultry and beef, fresh produce and baked goods (bread!).

Off the resort: Explore Chutes Provincial Park (pronounced "Shoots") where you can hike, bike, fish, swim. and camp. Journey to Great Lakes Waterfront Trail where northern roads guide you through the LaCloche foothills. Adventure with your guests along the shores of the serene Spanish River as the Trail winds through the Township of Sables-Spanish Rivers. Curious to try ice fishing in the winter or off-road 4wheeling in the summer? Let us set you up with local guides!

Pet-friendly: Bring your dogs! We have a fully fenced-in yard which attaches to our wrap around deck so your pups can enjoy the vacation too! Bowls provided.

Beautiful and private
We had an excellent stay at Denvic House. The house and loft were clean and well stocked (including tea, coffee, laundry detergent, etc.) and the view of Denvic lake is stunning. We enjoyed sitting on the deck overlooking the lake in the morning and taking the kayaks for a spin during the day. The lake is great for swimming and fishing. We caught four good size bass right off the dock. The property is very private and even though there are other cottages on the lake it was never busy. Grant was easy to communicate with and very accommodating.

Our family LOVED Denvic House! The location is GORGEOUS! Sitting up high, overlooking the quiet lake from inside the house or outside from several decks, is do peaceful and beautiful It was a treat to glide through the water in the 2 kayaks available for our use. The home was clean, comfortable and very well-stocked (kitchen utensils/appliances, coffee, beach towels, gamess, etc). Lots of great hiking nearby. Grant was super welcoming and a wonderful communicator. We hope to return sometime!

The property is clean and well kept. The views of the lake are stunning. I was so happy the place allowed me to bring my dog and they even have pet supplies. The host was incredibly friendly and super accommodating.

Family Reunion
This property was exceptionally clean and location of all amenities (which are many) clearly marked and in excellent condition. The host of this property was very friendly, accommodating and helpful in ensuring a smooth rental transaction. He also was in contact to make sure our stay was very comfortable and we had all we needed to enjoy our stay. Also the view of Denvic Lake was phenomenal!
