Amazingly comfortable bed!!
Hotel was a lot better than I expected. A lot of unhoused people roaming around, hotel did have security. The bed was amazingly comfortable!!! The a/c needed to have the filters cleaned and bleached. Turning it on had the room smelling like cat urine. Disgusting. But once I rinsed it off it was much better.

I checked into my room and left my belongings in there and went out to dinner. I returned a few hours later to find a stranger sleeping in my room who hotel staff had given a key to by mistake. I was able to retrieve my belongings and after a long ordeal was assigned to a different room. I asked for a refund, which was issued in addition to my credit card being charged a second time for the room. The room charge that i was billed for (twice, though one of them canceled out because of the refund) was more than twice as much as the price quoted on expedia. This was the absolute worst experience I have ever had at any hotel and I will likely be taking further legal action to recover the money that this hotel is stealing from me.

Rooms were nice and quiet Staff was friendly but lacked having towels and coffee at front desk for customers. Dining staff was excellent the breakfast was excellent. The only thing that was bad was the exterior needed to be cleaned and trash/garbage in the parking lot and around the buildings. A lot of homeless living in the hotel and in cars in the parking lot which is just the way it is in the world right now it seems. Over all it was a decent place for the price. We never felt unsafe or in danger. I dont know that I would stay again but it’s not bad for the money we paid to stay.

This property is the worst ever, i have stayed at howard before, but never like this one. To start the hotel room was dirty inside and outside. There are people selling drugs outside . I reported it but they seem not to care the answer was " there is nothing we can do about it". Inside the room there were no towels for all of us 3 people , i went to the front dest to get some towells and the answer was . " we don't have any more towells.. so we had to dry ourselfs with just one towell. We ask to have the room clean for the 3 days we were staying there, but nothing. Not even one day we had our room cleaned.or stock with any kind of towells . IF I COULD GIVE ONE STAR I WOULD , BUT THE SYSTEM DON'T ALLOWED.

The property itself was dirty with a lot of litter in the parking lot. We saw at least 5 cats roaming the perimeter. The parking lot smelled heavily of marijuana smoke. There was a dirty pillowcase stuffed behind the chair in the room. there were no washcloths, minimal bed pillows, and no soap for the one sink. Our free breakfast consisted of coffee, juice or toast/muffins. Waffle maker was there but no one knew how to supply the batter. We did not see any fruit, or meat or protein at all. We had a similar experience at a different Wyndham hotel in Stockton and will add this hotel to the list of hotels we will not return to.

Why Did I Stay Here?
When i checked in, I was given the wrong key. i went back and then I was given a key that didn't open the door. After the third time, I was about to get a room but the previous left food in the refrigerator that wasn't cleaned out before my visit. It was a very disappointing stay.
