My sister and I stayed on a weekend, Friday through Sunday. We were on the freeway side, but there was not much traffic noise. Half a block up starts a very quiet and nice neighborhood. Close to Cal expo and downtown. Lots of dining and shopping options nearby. Complimentary breakfast was decent as well. Scrambled eggs, sausage, waffles, oatmeal, yogurt, juices and coffee are all your options. There’s also an area to purchase other snacks at the front desk.

Need Shower Mat
I fell in the shower they need to have a shower mat at all times it was horrible and to slippery please let them know that's not good for handicapped people!!!!!

Make sure you're all set before your arrival
Awful customer sevice with the night guy; the morning lady was the only nice person I met. We drove over 4hrs (3 adults and 3 kids) to find out that the payment of one of our room didn’t process and the only clear words the guy knew how to say was "$100 deposit". He was rude, unpolite, and not prepared to deal with exhausted people who need a roof over their head after a long trip. The breakfast was poor and awfulbas well (barely cooked sausage links and eggs, awfully taste waffles)

Homeless shelter or hotel????
Not sure if this was a hotel or an apartment complex. Lights went out for a couple hours with no notice or concern from front desk. Area was sketchy with people sleeping in their cars in the parking lot. Big grasshoppers in the rooms. Not comfortable at all with the surroundings.

I'd stay again but...
The staff were nice - no complaints there. But the hotel itself left a lot to be desired. You can tell that, at one time it was a top notch inn but it's been left to die by a thousand neglects. The rooms were clean although my wife would bathe in the tub partly because it looked dingy and partly because the plug had come out and wouldn't go in. There were soap and shampoo dispensers in the shower but they were empty although a bar of soap (no shampoo) had been provided. I'll never figure out why hotels (or anywhere else) use one ply toilet paper. Users just use three times as much for safety sake. A bedside light had a bulb missing. The desk supplied me with a new bulb but when I went to insert it, it turned out the whole lamp mechanism had rusted out. It must have been that way for a long time and nobody bothered to replace it. The swimming pool and hot tub had a sign saying closed for maintenance and, judging by the curling and yellowing of the sign, the maintenance folks had been on a very extended vacation. We went down for breakfast a little after 8 and it was good with scrambled eggs, toast, waffles, cereal, etc. But we noticed when that day's ration of whatever ran out, it wasn't replaced. We lucked out with getting coffee but no sugar, the last of the eggs and the last two pieces of bread for toast. It's a low cost hotel so you can't expect much in the way stars but some of the other guests looked a bit sketchy but there were no problems and it was quiet.

Nice place, clean inside. Did have people hanging around the bottom of the stairs outside our door smoking. Lots of noisy people outside all hours of the night.
