We arrived after the reception was closed, which was ok since it's meant to be 24/7 and got a confirmation of this via email previously. Upon arrival, the automated machine wouldn't deliver the room card so I went inside and called the number for emergencies. After a few attempts and 30min wait, the hotel "receptionist" for emergencies was shouting from the window at me and asking 3 times if I used the machine, of which I had to repeat that it wasn't working. He was extremely rude and still charged me for city tax a 3rd time even though I already paid at the machine twice (which went through). Overall a stressful stay, appalling customer service and a place you should avoid.
Arrived to find that they had allocated our pre-booked room to someone else. It took an age for them to work out how to give us a different room. Once we were in bed we tried to log-in to the wi-fi and it would not recognise our name and room number so clearly they had not entered our new room booking on the system
Smallest room ever. Fire alarm went off & no direction from staff assuming we would know who was staff.
Gate coding was poorly placed, have to get out of car,.search for it & then hope you get back in your before it closes.
In business park so not brilliant area. Hotel did not communicate despite request for late check in. If it hadn’t been for other travellers we wouldn’t have been able to access hotel I’d room. Breakfast very basic
Surprisingly good breakfast. Late arrival was warned that it would be unmanned machine to unlock gate not working. Luckily more savvy people found out that reception was manned so was able to park. Very friendly staff.
I was unable to book in to the hotel! Despite trying to contact them several times before travelling to inform them of my late arrival. I was further delayed by the ferry being two and a half hours late. Again I tried contacting the hotel to inform them of this without success. When arriving at the hotel the automatic book in machine didn't recognise my name or booking confirmation number! I was locked out! I contacted Expedia and they had exactly the same lack of success contacting the hotel and eventually had to find a different hotel for me.
