It was an honor to stay in the Captain’s comfortable house. Loved the neighbors and the fenced in yard. But attention is needed to details; there wasn’t enough silverware and some other items needed to be purchased. But until the water situation is better and they no longer are draining Lake Okechobee we sadly can’t return to Pine Island.

Enjoyed the location. Perfect neighborhood for riding our bikes and walking the dog. Didn’t have an opportunity to use the pool as weather didn’t coooerate but it was clean and well maintained.

Very clean and good location
We rented this property for the location and the water access. We found the property very clean, it is more than likely the cleanest we have rented over the years. It had all we needed and we enjoyed our stay. We paddle board so being able to drop the boards off the dock was great.

The Perfect Stay
The Captain's House was absolutely perfect. Very clean, plenty of space and everything you need while away from home. The pool and patio area is wonderful. The kids had a blast. Being on the canal and having a boat lift, is perfect for renting a boat literally around the corner. The neighborhood is beautiful and quiet. The restaurants around town are just another perk. We will absolutely stay here again and again.
