Nice little House

Charming little house was in a perfect location. Check in was easy and house was very clean. Easy short walk to downtown St. Joseph, restaurants and shopping. Golf course was short drive. The owner, Cindy, was very helpful with suggestions for dining and events. There a fire house right next door and a church behind the house, so sleeping was a challenge at times since the church chimes ring EVERY hour all night long! Thank goodness there werent any sirens at night from the fire station too!

Girl’s trip

Location is great. Through instructions and easy access. Walk to restaurants and shops and Silver beach for sunset. Everyone had their own room. Nice having a powder room down stairs. If there were elderly or folks with climbing issues the stairs could be a problem. Wouldn’t suggest a brighter strip of paint on the last step and at the landing. Otherwise great place to stay

We loved St Joes

We had a lovely weekend, weather was perfect, we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. Cindy gave us some great recommendations for shopping and restaurants and kept in touch with us during our stay.

Great Location

Great location. Stairs would be dangerous for elderly or small children. A bit dark and gloomy. Beds were great and everything very clean. Extra charge for bath towels seemed a bit crazy so we didn't use them. Overall a good stay.

Cozy Cottage

This place had everything we needed- Cindy was very gracious and made us feel welcome. Was great to be able to walk to all the restaurants and shopping. We use VRBO regularly, and this was one of the cleanest places we’ve ever stayed. One caveat- it is an older home, so not a great choice if someone in your group has mobility issues.

Great cottage walking distance to downtown St Joe’s!

We truly enjoyed our stay at Kismet Cottage! My family of 4 stayed for a week and felt right at home. The location is great for being outside of the busyness of main street but close enough to walk to restaurants and what St. Joes has to offer. The cottage is quaint and met our needs as a home base. Check in was easy and the house was very tidy and clean. Thanks Cindy for creating such a great place to stay!

Family Vacation

We stayed for a week at Kismet Cottage. The location is very convenient for trips to the beach and downtown shopping. The home is older, but it was very clean. The beds were very comfortable and the owner responded quickly to questions. We hope to visit again soon.

Cindy's property is exactly what we were looking for to spend our time in St Joe. The house is walkable to downtown and the beach and easy to park at the house in a quiet residential neighborhood. When we arrived, we felt immediately at home. The property is clean and well stocked in the kitchen, bathrooms, and laundry to support our busy family throughout the week. We loved the games, puzzles, books, Smart TV, and all of the menus, and local information. Cindy is very easy to access before and during the stay. She personally reached out to me multiple times prior to arrival to keep us well informed of arrival process, parking, information about the home, and inquiring about our interests to help identify what local events may interest us. We would stay at Cindys property again and would recommend to our friends!

Ideal location

Enjoyed a girls trip to St. Joseph and four of us stayed at Cindy's cottage. It was very clean and aside from having to bring our own bath towels and hair dryer, it had everything we needed. It is literally just blocks away from everything so we didn't need our car at all and walked to the beach, shops, and many restaurants. Cindy shared some great restaurant recommendations and was right about all of them. We also enjoyed walking through her store in town. We were out and about for most of our trip and didn't get to spend too much time at the cottage, but it was a great stay.
