Warning: This residence is a family home which is not intended to accommodate groups wishing to organize noisy parties, harmful to the close neighborhood. The garden is adjoining two dwellings occupied during the year and for some time, we have been receiving complaints related to noise pollution (see below for more details).

We offer for rent a large character house for 22 people in an enclosed garden. This house built in 1852 by a nephew of the inventors of the hot air balloon has kept its soul and its authenticity over the generations.
We have renovated it to give it a standard of comfort: large bright and well-equipped kitchen, 5 completely redone bathrooms and 5 toilets, swimming pool...

NEW: From 2022, wishing to streamline our offer and provide quality service, cleaning and linen will be included in the rental price. In addition, our tenants will find the beds made upon their arrival.

The pool is heated from mid-May to mid-October and protected by an electric shutter (safety standards) to which we have added a fence. You have 10 deckchairs to relax, read or sunbathe.
An old orangery located at the end of the garden is not inhabited but houses the table tennis on the ground floor. Access to the floor is prohibited.

We have set up a wooden terrace in the shade of 2 cedars with 3 metal tables and 18 chairs. You can plan grills on the large plancha with 4 independent burners and a small barbecue.

We offer several types of games: ping-pong, petanque, recent bar table football, badminton, swing, children's games, board games.
A grand piano is available to you in the living room and reserved for pianists. This is a beautiful PLEYEL brand piano and we thank you for being careful to preserve it in good condition.
You also have a private tennis court, in quick (average condition but playable).

This house is located in a quiet little village, where you will find a few small shops.
Points of vigilance: The house being located in the heart of the village, it is imperative to respect the tranquility of the neighbors. No noise and music on the terrace from 10 p.m.
The swimming pool is prohibited after 10 p.m.

It enjoys a beautiful environment: wooded hills, culminating at 900 m allowing hikes or walks, starting on foot from the house.

- for cyclists, new "Via Fluvia" cycle path along the Deume river to the Rhône on one side and the Loire on the other.
- Lac du Ternay 2 km away (no swimming), ideal for fishermen and walkers in the shade of the cedars of Lebanon

We loved the house and gardens. The accommodation was perfect. The kitchen excellent for a big group. The swimming pool was well used. There was even space for us to play cricket.

Wonderful large home for our family gathering!
We were in the area for a family wedding in Annonay. The house was perfect for us as we had plenty of room. We enjoyed the pool, eating lunch outdoors as well as the tennis and table tennis. The bakery was within walking distance so we had fresh bread and croissants every morning. The large living room was great for relaxing at the end of the day. Most of all we really enjoyed the family dinners in the large dinning room. Even though we took some day trips to Saint Etienne, Lyon, Valence, and Grenoble, we always made it back in time to have a family dinner. This was very special for us after not seeing each other for some time in the USA. We highly recommend Claire and Laurent’s beautiful house.

Huge house with amazing communal spaces, lovely big garden, great pool and real character.
We are a group of 6 families, with 12 adults and 10 children from babies to 5 year olds. The house had plenty of room for all of us, and loads of character. The communal spaces downstairs (kitchen, dining room and lounge) were really good and suitable for large groups. But most of all the huge garden and heated pool were enjoyed by all. It’s really hard to find places to accommodate such a large group and this place is a real gem. There are some good day trips to do locally, but it’s also completely possible to spend a week here and not really want to leave the house and grounds. We had a brilliant stay. Thank you very much!

Maison parfaite pour réveillon entre amis avec de jeunes enfants
Les échanges avec Claire et Laurent, les propriétaires, ont été rapide et efficace. Leur accueil a été particulièrement chaleureux et les explications claires.La rez de chaussée se décompose en 3 immenses pièces de vie (salon, salle à manger, cuisine) qui permettent à 10 adultes et 10 enfants de se côtoyer aisément. Le présence du piano participe à l’atmosphère chaleureuse des pièces de vie.L’agencement des chambres à l’étage est idéal pour les familles avec de jeunes enfants. Les chambres sont astucieusement appairé (1 chambre avec lit double appairé à 1 chambre avec 2 lits simples).L’extérieur est également charmant et il faut noter la présence d’un terrain de jeu public situé au dessus de la propriété - très pratique pour les enfants. Le safari de Peaugres à 15mn de voiture donne l’occasion d’une belle sortie en famille.Prévoir le supplément chauffage pendant l’hiver - plutôt raisonnable au vu de la taille de la maison.En résumé, ce fut un plaisir de séjourner dans cette demeure historique et nous y retournerions avec plaisir.

Un séjour de rêve à la Bobinière
Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour à la Bobinière. La maison est magnifique et très spacieuse, offrant de multiples combinaisons pour les arrangements de chambres. Elle contient tout ce dont nous avons besoin pour la vie quotidienne, la cuisine est bien équipée, et surtout, cette maison a une âme : les générations qui s’y sont succédé ont laissé leur empreinte et l’on se sent imprégné de l’atmosphère familiale. Tous les clins d’œil à l’histoire de la montgolfière nous ont beaucoup amusés et intéressés. L’extérieur est aménagé de façon très agréable, avec piscine, tennis, ping-pong, et une installation permettant à une grande tablée de prendre ses repas dehors. Nous avons apprécié le calme de l’endroit et les possibilités de visite aux alentours (notamment Peaugres). Nous avons été bien accueillis et avons passé une très agréable semaine dans cette belle propriété ; nous ne pouvons que la recommander à ceux qui aimeraient se retrouver en famille ou en groupe pour de bons moments de détente.

Bien située, proche d'un traiteur que nous recommandons, il y a de la place pour plus de 20 personnes. La maison est bien équipée, le jardin calme. Le séjour était très agréable, Laurent était à l'écoute de nos besoins. Des travaux de rénovation sont apparemment en cours.

Nous avons passé 2 jours très agréables dans cette très grande maison. Elle est un peu vieillotte mais les salles d'eaux sont rénovées et modernes, la cuisine bien équipée, la salle à manger est immense et le salon avec cheminée et piano 1/4 de queue! Les literies sont très confortables. Nous n'avons pas profité du jardin puisque séjour fin décembre. Petit bémol pour les séjours en hiver : maison immense et mal isolée, la note de gaz est salée... Pensez à réclamer le relevé du compteur à l'arrivée.

la grande maison est agréable malgré des sanitaires très inégalement répartis pour un groupe d'adultes. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié la disponibilité de Floréane pour receptionner la livraison quotidienne de notre traiteur,sans elle notre pélerinage n'aurait pas pu se réaliser. Cet ensemble historique mérite un grand coup de rénovation.

Belle demeure de famille
Un très beau week-end dans cette authentique demeure avec de beaux volumes (s’il pleut, ce n’est pas grave, les salons , salle à manger nous accueillent.) Parc très agréable permettant de ne pas souffrir de la chaleur et tout est fait pour les enfants (jeux, lectures, espaces, ….) Juste un petit désagrément d’odeur d’essence dans l’orangerie.

Toen we aankwamen stond er ook een andere groep. Er was een dubbele boeking via een ander platform. VRBO was op zaterdag niet bereikbaar :( Onze groep mocht blijven omdat we eerst gereserveerd hadden. Voor de andere groep werd een andere oplossing gezocht. Er was een mevrouw uit het dorp ter plaatse waar we een heel goed contact mee hadden. Als er een probleem was mochten we bellen en ze kwam snel langs. De plancha is zalig om op te koken. Gelukkig hadden we mooi weer want binnen koken voor een grote groep is niet evident. Het zwembad is heel aangenaam. Jammer genoeg werd het water steeds groener en viel er veel vuil van de bomen in het water. De onderhoudsploeg van het zwembad was in verlof. De mevrouw uit het dorp deed haar best, maar kreeg het niet opgelost. Het is een leuke regio om te verkennen. Er is een groot meer en een goede fietsroute vlakbij. Het huis is heel groot. Het oude huis voelt hier en daar verouderd aan, maar heeft ook heel veel charme. Op de website lijkt het huis vrijstaand, maar er zijn aanpalende buren. Tips ter verbetering: wat meer glazen voorzien, automatische dosering van chloor in het zwembad en het vast tapijt op één slaapkamer vervangen. We hebben echt genoten van onze vakantie. Het huis is een goede uitvalsbasis voor een grote groep.

Un anniversaire réussi dans une maison de famille
Nous avons fêté en famille l'anniversaire de notre mère. Le salon est très beau avec un piano, la salle à manger très vaste, nous avons bien profité de la terrasse. les chambres étaient très bien, la piscine aussi ainsi que le pingpong. La cuisine est bien équipée. Il y avait assez de frigo, un four, de belle plaques. Et surtout il y a un charme incomparable dans cette maison. C'est une maison de famille louée à une autre famille. Nous nous sommes bien amusé en famille. Une expérience à recommencer.
