I booked an accessible room with a walk-in or roll in shower. At Check in I was told I’d be on the second floor and when I asked about one on the first floor, I was told they were all on the second floor. After getting all my luggage and things to the room I noticed the shower Was really more a tub and had a small lip about 8 inches. When I checked again with office I was told there was a Roll in or walk-in shower on the first floor. After driving all day, I didn’t appreciate that the confusion by the desk staff caused me to take all my luggage from the second floor back down to the first floor room. Other than that, the room was fine.

The rooms were nice Little things that need attention. Plug ins are loose or dont work, cobwebs need to be cleaned up in the rooms.

They will nickel and dime you to death, even 1 min before 3 for check in is still 70$ up charge. Room was gross, had to wear shoes the whole time In the room. Pull out bed is couch had garbage inside and stunk, and god forbid I mention it to them. Did have a nice outdoor pool, but electrical shock issue with live wires around hot tube.

The breakfast came out late and slow and didn't have much variety. Overall the room was good and place was fairly clean. Area around the property was not very good, only the shopping outlets nearby is nice.

The carpet on the stairs is filthy, the muddy floor in the elevator was not cleaned in the 3 days we were there, the jets in the jetted tub in our room were brown with crud. The furniture in our room was beat up looking,and a drawer in the dresser kept opening on its own.I'm a long time BW member, and this hotel did not measure up to the usual BW standard.

Motel getting long in the tooth

Overall the stay was acceptable. A few items should be addressed to warrant the cost of the stay. The bathroom towels have seen better days and should have been retired years ago. they are almost thread bare and the bath towels are little more than hand towels. The electrical outlets in the bathroom did not work requiring the hair dryer to be used at the coffee bar, and the edge of the bathroom door next to the handle was sticky. One reading lamp next to the bed did not work and the bed and pillows were hard as a rock. When we return to Woodburn next year we will stay at the La Quinta and not the Best Western as it is overdue for a refresh.

My family of 3 stayed at this location for convenience to the Woodburn Outlets. The Denny's right next door was a nice surprise in case we wanted a quick lunch or dinner. The area is quiet even though its right next to a highway. Property and facilities are clean. Easy check-in and check-out. Would stay here again.
