This is a place where you get what you paid for considering the cost of hotels in San Antonio. Check in and check out was fast. We we walked in our, there’s a very strong smell of some sort of chemicals (may be a cleaning detergent), we requested a different room, but the other room has the same smell so we opted to stay w/ the original room. It was clean enough and strong wi fi. Now, there’s free breakfast, i wish they could have some fruits, maybe a banana or apple. They only cereals, bagels and waffles, waffle is impossible to get at the time, other guest won’t leave it a lone, i wish they could limit per person because there’s only one waffle maker. Friday morning, we went to get yogurt and coffee but it seemed like breakfast ended at 9:30am. I mean really?? It’s convenient and just across River Center Shops, so if you’re on a budget, this ain’t too bad.

The room was smelly, the bathtub was dirty, bed sheets had stains, ac smells humid, bathroom had sewer smell. The only good about this property is the location since is to walking distance to the river walk. Other than that, the property needs some major renovations. Lucky I only stayed one night but will not stay again and do not recommend.

River smell in #192
Horrible 2-night's stay in 192. The room double bed was not queen size as expecting but full size. The room has a smell of the San Antonio River thru out the entire room into the bathroom. At 1st thought it was mildew or mold smell. Seem like we were sleeping under bridges next to the river. Made an emergency run to CVS for bleach wipes and 4 scented candles to help sleep thru the nights. The scent would have followed us home, but we stop at a laundry mat to wash our dirty laundry plus duffle bag to kill the smell off before our 4-hour drive back home. Didn't know wanting to stay close to Downtown would cost us gag and constantly coughing.
