The hotel is old and it has a smell. The sofa was dirty and the furniture was old. The elevators weren’t working as well. People were waiting for a long time for them to work and get on. On the plus side, employees are very nice and helpful.

The hotel was great. However, I would change one thing in our room. The beds had a ton of room between them however there wasn’t enough room to get into the bed from the wall side, making it difficult to get into bed for older couples.

Note flat lot accross street for self park, not affiliated with hotel or Valet Parking at the hotel for just over $49.00 per night plus tax. Many buildings are vacant in the area. However rehab of the area is going on in full force. Never felt unsafe day or night.

I love staying at this Embassy Suites. The staff were amazing. The breakfast was great along with the happy hour that was provided. The only complaint I had was when my room was cleaned they must have never cleaned the floors there was a piece of broken class on the bathroom floor. And after 3 days I threw it out. One day we didn’t get any room service. The vent in bathroom was filthy and coming loose. And our glasses were never cleaned/changed. That’s it.
