Perched on the top floor of this Victorian style home, this beautiful, newly furnished 2 bedroom, features a private patio, fire-pit, grill, and insta worthy mural! The interior is lined with windows which naturally light up the space. From the vaulted ceilings and wooden beams to the stylish decor, this place is especially unique, providing the perfect space for your stay in San Diego. The neighborhood is incredibly charming and there are amazing restaurants nearby.

Both bedrooms have queen beds and the couch also coverts to a comfy queen. Both bedrooms have nightstands, bedside lamps, and built in closets with a ton of space. The kitchen is spacious and stocked. The patio is private and features an outdoor dining table, chairs around a fire-pit, bbq grill, and a mural. Outdoor string lights, a shade sail, and umbrella complete where you'll likely spend most of your time, taking advantage of our amazing weather.

You will have exclusive access to the entire space.

Normal Heights is a lively urban residential neighborhood in the heart of San Diego. It is residential with well maintained homes and properties. The Adams Avenue business district is a few blocks from the house, and has restaurants, cafes, pubs/bars, and shops. Normal Heights' residents are eclectic and range from millennials to retirees. Staying in Normal Heights gives you access to a true San Diego neighborhood and is close to the rest of the city.

Our neighborhood of Normal Heights is VERY walkable / rideable (residential but just a few blocks from shops, pubs/bars, and restaurants). Public bus transportation runs along Adams Avenue - about 4 city blocks from the house. Uber/Lyft is easy and dockless scooters are also in the area (generally around the Adams Avenue business district). The 15 & 805 freeways are a few minutes from the house.

Water heater needs fixed!
I'll tell about the bad points first. The shower was a nightmare. 5 minutes to heat up, then a comfortable shower for 5 minutes. Then ICE cold for 5 minutes. Then too hot for 2 minutes. In the 3 day stay I could only make myself shower once. Which wasn't great! The couch pull out was not a good place for adults to sleep. Maybe fine for kids. There were small ants all over the kitchen and bathroom. The good points. It is in a great location. It was cute. I think they need to fix the shower and say it sleeps 4 people. Then it would be 5 stars.

4.5 Stars From Someone Who's Apparently Bougie
This was an amazing place to stay. The setup is really nice and impressive, and well furnished and decorated. Pros - Location(Whoever complained about the neighborhood must stay in the Hamptons). - Cleanliness - Decor(not only on the inside, but also has a huge balcony) - Lighting - Safety Cons - Hot Water: This is the one true issue I had with the place. There's some trickiness where the hot water takes a bit to start, and once it does it only lasts a few mins before it goes away again. This is manageable for the kitchen, but should be a priority to fix in the bathroom. - Laundry is not in the most convenient spot, so being supplied with a laundry basket would have been helpful, but this is a minor issue.

Family birthday gathering
Great location in a walkable neighborhood with nearby restaurants, shops, parks, and groceries. Nice deck for gathering with friends / family. Parking was always available on the street right in front. Beds and bedding were comfortable. We had a grand 4 day stay ! One minor glitch when we ran out of toilet paper and dishwasher detergent (someone had cut rolls of paper towels in half to substitute as toilet paper, but we were concerned that might clog plumbing, Similarly we didn't want to use detergent intended for hand washing dishes in the dishwasher since that generally causes overflow of soapy bubbles spilling out of dishwasher ). Tried to communicate with Alan about this but his phone was "off the hook" for most of Saturday afternoon. Not a big problem since we could easily track down our own toilet paper and Cascade detergent for the dishwasher...but you might need to remedy those little "glitches" before next guests move in ...

Neighborhood run down not comfortable staying or leaving vehicle on the street. Inside not cleaned well. We took pictures and asked for a refund we have not heard back. We had to book our stay at a hotel last minute.

Wonderful location
We were here to tour SDSU & USD for college. Apartment is well located, clean, and parking is easy. Our flight got delayed several times, so we weren't able to check in until 2:30am--self check in was easy. Alan and his colleagues were quite helpful and easy to get ahold of.

El lugar no es para adultos mayores , las escaleras de acceso muy descuidadas y con telarañas. No pudimos usar los closets porque estaban muy polvosos y sucios. El refrigerador sucio por fuera y por dentro . La terraza con telarañas y las plantas se están secando en todo el edificio no les ponen agua . Le falta mantenimiento a la casa . En la tina se desperdicia mucha agua. Ya habíamos pagado por eso no nos salimos . La ubicación muy buena
