Adorable Mission Bay Studio

Summary:
This wonderful space is close by Mission Bay Park. You’ll love it because it's completely furnished and opens through French doors to a spacious patio which was updated just this year with a built-in grill, gazebo, fridge (stocked with beverages) and lounge seating! A king sized bed, a meal prep counter, a full bathroom with walk in shower, smart TV, mini-split AC and heat, and high speed wifi (that works well enough to take a Zoom meeting on the patio) round out the space.

The Space:
This is a guest suite that is part of a larger home. The suite is self-contained with a separate entrance and totally private and separate from the main home. Also, there is a weightlifting rack and equipment on the property (please let us know in advance if you'd like to use it!).

Guest Access:
The patio and outside areas are shared with the other studio on the property and the owner who lives on-site.

The Neighborhood:
This home is located in a safe, friendly and family-oriented neighborhood. You may find yourself invited to join the owner and neighbors for a Friday night neighborhood cookout (feel free to say no). On any given Saturday, you will probably see kids and dogs running past the house - if you've got a kiddo (or a dog), they will be invited to join!

Getting Around:
We always recommend a car to get around San Diego, but we are a just quick 5-10 minute walk to the Balboa Dr. trolley station if you wish to use transit during your visit and Uber/Lyft are also very convenient in San Diego. Street parking is readily available and free right in front of the unit.

Other Things to Note:
This studio runs on green, solar energy.

Want to workout while you're in town? We have everything you need in a fully stocked home gym including: squat/bench/pull-up rig, men's bar (20 kg), women's bar (15 kg), training bar (7 kg), bumper plates (5 - 45 pounds), jump ropes, box, bosu ball, training bands, mats, slam ball and wall ball.

For stays longer than 30 days, I require a deposit in the amount of one month's rent to be paid offline due 60 days prior to arrival as well as a formal lease agreement.

Visit with our son
The property was wonderful and we really enjoyed our stay. The property was lovely and we appreciated being able to have a soda or beer when we returned from visiting our granddaughter. Since we ate at their home we didn’t have to cook but brought some peanut butter (which we put on toast- a toaster was available) and we had knives and cutting boards to cut up our fruit. Our one suggestion would be to have a luggage rack so we don’t have to put or luggage on the pristine bedding and get it dirty. Will definitely be back again

Best VRBO Experience EVER!
We could not have been happier with our stay and how perfect this unit is. Not only was everything as advertised, but they went above and beyond with so many little details. We were just impressed at every turn. The patio/outdoor common area put this over the top. From enjoying coffee in the cool beach air to a quiet evening cocktail, the space was perfect. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. Far and away our best VRBO experience ever.

Summer Start
What a great way to start our summer. Our stay at Adorable Mission Bay Studio was beyond perfect. It was just as described. The patio was so relaxing for an early morning cup of coffee or a glass of wine before bed. The studio was comfortable and had everything you needed. This was a great location to every activity in the San Diego area. We would recommended this to anyone who is visiting the area.

We were very exhausted after driving long hours from the Bay Area and found the room dirty and not ready for us. The owner apologized, gave us 1 night refund and directed us to an alternate place. Amazing place!
My wife and I use VRBOs all the time for vacation. This place is amazing. If you are looking to explore San Diego this is the place to stay. The trolley is a short walk that takes you to all the places you want to, old town, downtown, little Italy or a padres game. The place has all the amenities that two people would need. The owners are very friendly and responsive. I’d give this place a 10 out of 10!

Read the fine print.
upon reviewing the location information, it was assumed that the outside yard would be available only to you. I was wrong. The location has three other apartments which had access to the yard. I brought my 4 dogs upon seeing the yard but it turned into a nightmare. The owners sister lives in one of the lower apartments. Her children came out and when the dogs saw them, they went after the kids. One of the kids was bitten by one of my dogs. No puncture wound but a bite mark. The owner's sister report the incident to the owner who contacted us and asked us to leave the following day. It worked out for us as the locations was extremely small and one of our dogs got a bad bacterial infection. Make sure you read all the information on the property you like to rent before making any decisions. The owner did reimburse me for the one day. It was learning experience for me and I will asked many questions if I decide to use VRBO again.

Great location and place to stay
We absolutely loved staying here. The property was clean, perfectly located (pretty much 15 minutes anywhere -- except during rush hour, of course). Communication with Aaron was amazing. The courtyard was our favorite place to be. The pictures are a little dated: there are minor differences in furniture and appliances, but nothing that should change what you think about this place. We would definitely stay here again if we come visit San Diego again.
