Ensimmäinen talo valtatieltä, yli 400 neliöjalkaa yksityistä Ocean Front-terassia. Istu näkymät hiekka surffailulle ja upeille auringonlaskuille. Nukkua ja herää surffailun ääniin. Vuodepaikkoja 5, ja olohuoneessa on queen-size-muistivahva-vuodesohva. Makuuhuoneen yläkerrassa on queen-vuode ja ranskalaiset ovet, jotka avautuvat tilavalle ja ihastuttavalle aurinkoterassille. Patio on erittäin yksityinen ja suojattu huippu merinäköalalla. On ihanaa istua siellä aamukahvia, yksityistä iltapäivän auringonottoa ja iltoja surffavien rentouttavien äänien kanssa. Alakerran makuuhuoneessa on täysi + erillinen sänky. Keittiö on täysin varusteltu, mukaan lukien välttämätön kahvinkeitin ja tehosekoitin. Merinäköala ruokailu sisälle tai ulos. We found our favorite beach cottage!!!
We love staying at various cottages on Mission Beach each time we travel to San Diego to visit our family but now we've found our go-to spot! The location is absolutely perfect. The upstairs bedroom and sun room are new and fresh. The additional 1/2 bath upstairs was a nice surprise. The main floor is cute and comfortable. We did have a problem with the TV and the cable which was a bit of a bother on the cold windy nights during our stay but the owner got the cable guy there first thing Monday morning. She was also kind enough to offer us late check out for our inconvenience. Can't wait to come back during the summer time!

Absolutely amazing location. Property completely not ready.
This property truly is as close to the beach as stated. Checking in was very easy. The night before we checked in however the host reached out about check in and casually mentioned that there was construction. They felt it should not impact our stay. This was kind of short notice to be telling us that the property was not ready. The patio porch was in the middle of being turned into an extra room with its own porch. I'm certain it will be lovely when it's done. In the meantime however all the closets of the property were full of boxes and items for the construction. As such they were not usable. They were extra construction items underneath beds and underneath the tub. Property had obviously been empty but set up for a while. Sheets and bedding in the main bedroom were damp and mildewy, as was all the extra bedding for the property since it was stored in that room. I know the ocean wears away at everything, however we were all a little startled by the deterioration inside. Books were moldy, and everything was rusty. Several things around the kitchen were either still very dirty or broken and not working. Dimensions for very small garage were provided so I should have been expecting how tiny it was and unable to park most sedan cars, so that one was on me. House was once very cute, and I can see that the host is trying very hard to make it cute, but I feel that they should not be placing it up on VRBO until it is actually ready, and some key upgrades are made.

Charming Home in Great Location
Time spent on the front porch watching the ocean and the boardwalkers go by was worth the price alone! Being just one house in from the boardwalk was actually better than being right on it. Also, when the May gray rolled in, we could adjourn to the private upstairs patio for warmer shelter without leaving the fresh air. What a great way to spend a week in San Diego.

Nice to be on the beach
Cindy was terrific to work with. This property is located right on the beach. If you plan to stay here, it is important to know that the property could use a great deal of TLC. But again, Cindy was very responsive and very easy to work with.

What a cute cottage! This was the perfect location at Mission Beach for our getaway. The location was ideal, just steps away from the boardwalk and sand. We enjoyed our visit and would stay here again.

Great Place to Stay on the Beach
We had a very nice week at this location. If you like the idea of staying at one of the original beach cottages (many have been torn down and replaced with multi units) with a vintage feel, you will enjoy this location. The two outdoor spaces where both very nice. There are some things that need updating including the upstairs mattress and the shower drain is very slow to empty. All in all a great location.

Close to the beach
The property was great. The location was next to lifeguard tower 22. Which you should know that you can’t boogie board there. You will need to walk to station 21 which isn’t that far. Bring Tupperware or storage containers for left over food. Ice packs if you bring a cooler to the beach. There were Plenty of blankets and pillows. The patio was very accommodating with plenty of chairs and a table to eat outside. Kitchen had a drip coffee maker and filters. Plenty of dishes both plastic and ceramic. Had a toaster and blender as well. Pantry space was limited if you want to bring a lot of food. One bathroom was hard at times with 4 adults and 2 kids but we made it work. Boogie boards and sand toys in the garage. The upstairs bedroom was awesome because it had its own private patio but also got hot at times. I would stay here again. The owner Cindy was amazing and very accommodating. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

What a nice stay, very close to everything! We loved sitting out on the front porch listening to the waves. Super nice to have a kitchen right there to come back and grab snacks throughout the day. Can’t wait to come back again!

Absolutely delightful beach cottage
We absolutely loved the close proximity to the beach and upstairs balcony/patio that was protected from the coastal winds and had ~all~ the sun. The house itself is really adorable and the perfect size for my husband and three-year-old son. We would absolutely stay here again!

Charming Beach Cottage
So happy that there are still charming and cozy beach cottages available. The ones being replaced by mega modern boxes are lost gems! All of the special touches in decor so appreciated... everywhere...even in garage...framed pictures and origami! Our very favorite place we have stayed so far, since son and daughter in law moved to SD 2 years ago. Thank you!

LOVE, LOVE this charming beach cottage
What an amazing weekend in April [six girlfriends for 3 nights to celebrate a birthday]. The location is perfect: we were the penultimate house before the strand, so we had a great view of the beach but we're not facing the strand (avoided the awkward onlookers] and were protected from the wind. We went out to dinner once [lots of restaurants and shops within walking distance) and took turns cooking meals the rest of the vacation. You might want to be prepared for cooking on an electric stove (I prefer gas) and, if you need cofee, bring coffee grounds (no Keurig). Our host Cindy was wonderful, just a phone call away when we needed help. THANKS CINDY 💋💗💞 Parking: while the 1 car garage is only 15 x 10, I was able to park my Toyota Rav4 and close the garage door. We arrived mid-day on Friday and found street parking for our 2nd car on Strandway road and did not move it all weekend. The cottage was stocked: plenty of bedding, blankets, pots, pans, plates, cups, dishwasher, microwave, fridge. Thanks for leaving extra toilet paper too 💕💕 WE LOVED IT and definitely will come back!

Cozy Beach House
Highly recommend! Steps from Mission Beach, Cindy’s house was perfect for our family of four. The kids had their own room on the main floor, and the parents had a nice room upstairs with a walk-out veranda to hang out in the evening. Lots of great restaurants within walking distance. Close to attractions in San Diego, and an easy drive to La Jolla. Would highly recommend as the location can’t be beat. Would definitely stay here again!
