Clean room in a quiet, safe location with friendly reception staff. Tourist attractions, places to eat & drink all within walking distance. It was great base for exploring San Diego. Car park on site (for a fee) which had plenty of spaces when we were there.

We have stayed here several times. The beds are comfortable, and we have never had our sleep disturbed by noise. Overall, we have been satisfied. We have had problems a couple of times with the TV. I think the TV provider may be DirecTV. The first time we were here, we couldn't access all the channels that were claimed by the amenities folder to be available. A technician was sent to our room, and he was able to correct the problem. At this last visit, we had the same problem. A different technician was sent to our room. He spoke little English, and he was not able to correct the TV problem. This issue may affect our future decisions on where to stay.

Booked our room to overlook the Bay and that was probably the only highlight of our stay was waking up to the view. It is a very short walk to the boardwalk, which is great. Depending on your noise preference, this area is a bit noisy with city traffic but we have no complaints about that. You do have to pay for overnight parking at $22 a night which wasn’t mentioned and we thought it should’ve been included, and if you have more than two guests, you do have to pay $13 per extra guest. Overall rooms were okay.

They almost double charged me for the deposit and it felt like they only wanted my money, not to give me a good stay at the hotel. They asked me 3 times if I was doing parking when I said no the first time.

Very friendly and helpful from desk staff. The bathroom faucet in my room was dirty. It had dried toothpaste and brown stuff where the water comes out from so I marked a star down for cleanliness but I enjoyed the rest of the hotel and amenities
