My husband and I celebrated our anniversary in SD and stayed at this hotel. Upon checking in we were greeted by two ladies, it appeared as if one of them was training and she run my card twice, I thought nothing of it and moved on with our day. A few minutes later, I got an alert from my bank of a transaction for $245, I prepaid my stay so I immediately called front desk. I spoke to a man and he looked up my room and confirm it was a mistake and they would refund me asap.This happened Friday 9/6 and I was told I would receive my refund by Tuesday 9/10, when I did not receive as I was told I called the hotel and they said they did not see a charge for that amount, they had to escalated and do an investigation. I had to fight for them to give me my money back or else they wouldn't have. I got my refund on 9/12. Almost a week later. Besides that huge inconvenience, housekeeping did not clean our room after specifically calling and asking for room service. The rooms are really outdated, it just did not feel clean. Also, the walls are really thin, we were awaken by housekeeping carts rolling outside each morning. Definitely, not staying here ever again.

The only negative was that the TV had signal issues. Luis with Maintenance tried to fix it, but it seemed to be an issue with Dish. Great location and very comfortable.

It was more than expected this is a place in old town so it was very culturally up to date. It’s a very unique place to stay! The rooms were clean, staff was amazing, and it’s in the middle of everything. Short drive to parks and beaches. I’m definitely going back!!
