Amazing Sunset Views & Location
Property was in the perfect location! Far enough away from the crowds, but close enough to walk/ride bikes to restaurants, Belmont Park, etc. Amazing sunsets and bonfires on the beach, right in front of the condo. Check in was easy and Maurice/Property Manager was very responsive to some minor issues. We had an awesome vacation and will be back!

Our week at this property was amazing. The location was totally perfect - directly on the beach exactly where the girls' surfing lessons were based through Pacific Surf School via Duchess Ride out of Colorado. The kids could run back to use the bathroom! If you like volleyball this is also a great spot with 20+ courts right in front of you. The spot is 5min walk from coffee/Blue Palm restaurant and a market and a 8-10min walk from the Bellmont Park area via a lovely stroll along the beach bike path. The apartment is aligned such that the sun rises in the back so it is not so bright first thing and then sets directly in front giving the apartment's top floor deck and living space prime viewing. This apartment also faces the broader beach probably better than the other side of this apartment complex. The kitchen had everything we needed. We also appreciated all the paper products, kitchen and laundry soaps, and the closet did include a few beach towels though the description said they were not included. There was also hand soap, bath soap and shampoo but no conditioner. Super easy to get in and out with the door code. The parking spot was convenient but would be tight for two cars. Great for one small car (due to the very narrow entry) and storage. The only things I would have loved to have at the site were cruiser bikes and boggie boards. Apartments that other friends rented included those items. Overall it was wonderful and we would stay there again.

We loved our stay! The location was great! Right on the beach, volleyball courts and basketball courts nearby. Quieter environment which we loved. Maurice was great at responding to any questions or concerns we had. Will stay again!

Great stay on the beach
Our stay at Fun in the Sun Penthouse was awesome! The location and view cannot be beat. The property manager was very responsive and replied to emails almost immediately. The house was clean, and had everything we needed to prepare meals. The only suggestion I would give would be to have a few beach chairs for use. We flew in from Seattle, so we couldn't bring anything like that with us. Other than that, it was perfect!

Spring Break
Overall the property was ideal for our family Spring Break. The location just steps from the beach and Belmont Amusement park was ideal for running back and forth with small kids and a dog. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had the basic necessities. However upon arrival there was a strong chemical smell that lingered throughout our stay from a mop stored in the closet and the living room furniture and chair cushions need to be replaced due to stains wearing. Prior to booking I read that cleanliness was a concern and I would concur. I expect higher quality for the per night price.

Enjoyed our stay.....awesome location and view. Garage = Very tight to get a large vehicle inside; however, our Yukon XL fit with 2" to spare on each side of the garage door opening. Challenging, but possible! Bedrooms = There are not two twin beds in Bedroom #2. It has a twin bed and a pull out trundle bed (this room sleeps 2, not 4)

The penthouse villa was nice, except for the over all maintenance regarding cleanliness. Beautiful location on the beach very enjoyable watching the volleyball players and listening to the waves crashing.

Great views and location
The property is in a gorgeous location. The views are incredible. The house does have the essentials and a nice kitchen and living space. The main observation we had was the cleanliness of condo. The couch was definitely worn down, the patio furniture was tattered with cushions missing, and the floor was gritty with dirt/sand. We did have a great time during our stay! For the price you cannot beat the location and views. Overall would still recommend as a nice place to stay at the beach.

This property is on a great part of Mission Beach. Close to restaurants, Sea World, surf lessons, kayaking, and volleyball. Plenty of space for our family of 5...great views and comfortable beds. For the most part, it was clean, but there were a few areas that needed a good wipe down (windows, windowsills, sliding glass door, baseboards, cupboards, and underneath the couches. The BBQ looked like it hadn't been clean for years). Unfortunately, a window was left open in one of the bedrooms when the tropical storm came through in Aug. 2023, so the shutters and bed were wet and muddy. I immediately had to do several loads of laundry right when we arrived. We missed our first night there because of the hurricane and the owner was unwilling to offer a discount or free night (which, I can understand to a point. I am a VRBO owner as well and would personally have refunded the client if it were up to me, especially in this situation). We would rent this place again because the rest of my family loved it, and we enjoy the location. The property management company did personally call me when I let them know about the open window and muddy items, so that was nice.

It's all about the location
This is an unbeatable spot. Maurice is very prompt and happy to answer questions. At one point the dryer was venting into the house (heating the house) and he sent a service person immediately to remedy the situation. I agree with the other reviewers regarding the tired cookware-- it could stand to be replaced. Also other reviewers mention the dirty sofa-- there were all kinds of "goodies" in it and under it, but I'll say after a long day at the beach we all crashed on it as it is very comfortable. Agree about chairs being an issue for dining...but we enjoyed the bar chairs and mostly at on the patio. Can figure out the stove display with some effort. Bathrooms are well-appointed, no issues there. Overall, we had a great stay and loved our access. If you are worried about getting a vehicle into the garage, the lot isn't far away. There are boogie boards and beach toys in the garage, so don't buy them. We donated some beach equipment and skewers for marshmallow roasting. Also, the Nissan Kicks we rented fit into the garage much easier than the Toyota sedan our friends rented. Can't stress enough how easy it was to stroll from here to Belmont Park, etc. Thanks for having us, Maurice.

Amazing views
Great condo right on the beach with amazing views! There was plenty of space for our family of 6. Spacious kitchen with all you need to make meals. Comfortable beds. Nice deck. We had a good breeze all week with the doors and windows open. You could see the fireworks from Sea World in the back bedroom window. Gets noisy in the mornings from volleyball players but the beach and neighborhood is quieter than busy Belmont Park area. Garage parking is very tight if you have an SUV but that’s not uncommon. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and wished we could have stayed longer.
