Absolutely gorgeous hotel with friendly staff. The decor is beautiful and can't be faulted! Breakfast was lovely and had more options than expected (cereals, yoghurt, fruit, muffins, pastries, french toast, eggs, bacon, potatoes etc etc). Would have been great to have coffee facilities in the room, but other than that, cant complain!

It is a very new hotel - just opened for business few weeks ago. Old building but newly renovated. As it is new, not too busy. Rooms were great and quiet. Large bathrooms. It will probably continue to evolve in the months ahead. Decent breakfast spread after theu upgraded to a more extensive menu. Good AC and there is a fridge. Good and competitive room rates,

New hidden gem!
Tuong and Daryus checked us in. They were soooo warm and friendly! Told us lots of interesting history about the property. Complimentary drink upon checkin. Mentioned it was our anniversary and we also got complimentary champagne. AND Tuong gave us an upgrade to a beautiful corner suite on the 4th floor- absolutely stunning! Complimentary buffet breakfast was delicious- bacon, eggs, potatoes, and french toast in addition to the basics. Securtiy at front door was appreciated, and the location was great on north end of gaslamp. Only complaint is the walls are really thin, so be aware. Highly recommend!

This hotel was such a great place to stay it was central the only thing was the parking but it wasn’t too far so if your looking for parking it’s on 5th and broadway would be the closest parking structure. Other than that everything was good we were welcomed with a complimentary drink!

My stay at The Granger has been an amazing experience from the moment I walked in (they have security, so I feel very safe as I travel alone!) all the way to check out. Not only is the hotel designed so gorgeously but the staff has been so friendly, accommodating, and welcoming. Thank you to the Granger staff and sister hotels for being the bestest! I have found my long term home away from home in SD, I can't wait until all the amenities are open!
