Plus you are literally down the street from Sea World, Mission Bay (for sailing, swimming walking/biking trails) & walking distance to the local grocery store, pharmacy, bars & restaurants. You could also be surfing in Pacific Beach (PB), or at one of the huge number of great restaurants in Little Italy within 15mins (where they have a farmer's market on Sat). Within 20 mins you could be downtown at the Gas Lamp area (to the South), or go North to La Jolla with it's swanky shops, great bars, top-notch restaurants - overlooking the picturesque, rugged coastline that's great for a walk before or after dinner. They have some great sandy coves to sunbathe & watch the seals play. Go a little further & in 25mins you could be kayaking from the calm La Jolla Shores to the caves & coves of La Jolla, or paragliding off the cliff tops (hopefully with an instructor) or maybe you can get a T-time at the famous Torrey Pines Golf Club! I could go on,, but you get the picture...
