The hotel was very comfortable, main desk attendant was helpful, gave me a door key even though we had electronic key on phone, he said if phone fails you have a back up.

Few things, The property is situated right next to tracks. It’s very noisy. After 11 kinda got better. For overnight parking we paid 40$ extra. Breakfast place was crowded, some people waited 10 mins to grab place.

We love the location. Check in was friendly. Small trash cans and limited service for the rooms does not work. Requested a room refresh, it was never completed. We have stayed numerous times over the years. Breakfast quality is not as good. The sausage this morning was bad. Please bring back chopped nuts for the oatmeal. Whole walnuts are all thats offered.

Great choice downtown
Stayed a couple nights before cruise. Great location... walk to all sights downtown. Lots of great restaurants in Little Italy or on waterfront. Hotel comfortable, relaxing pool area, good gym.

Fantastic location! Easy walking distance to Little Italy or the USS Midway and cruise ships. The staff was great and parking was convenient. My only gripe was having a room on the Beech St side (I thought I was avoiding the Fire Station on the other side). It was THE noisiest hotel room I’ve ever stayed in. The incessant dinging from the railroad crossing just outside the window only stopped from midnight to 4 am. Also we heard every plane take off from the airport which is very close by. I saw other reviews saying it was a quiet hotel so maybe it was just the Beech St side. Otherwise it was great!

Everything was in general good, except for a hidden $40 per day parking fee. Do ensure with the parking fee, if this hotel is still under your budget. Also, during entire Christmas week, there was no cleaning and we had to make multiple requests to clear the garbage.

We stayed there for 5 days. At check in we were told that room service is every other day , unless requested otherwise. Sign inside the room also stated the same thing. On day 3 we still didn’t get room service. I had to go a request it at the front desk, and we got it the following day. Lobby bathroom was filthy dirty for two days (covered either in dirt or excrements, not sure). I brought it up to the front desk twice . It was cleaned on the third day. Beds and pillows are of poor quality - lumpy and thin. We liked the coffee shop next door (Portal Coffee) - excellent coffee and pasties . Breakfast at the hotel was not edible . Location is good, with Little Italy just couple of blocks away, with a great selection of restaurants. Big nice playground is across the street, for kids to get some steam off.
