Amazing Family Vacation Spot
Great location, easy to get in and out of and central to all that is San Diego. Amazing host, truly provides value to our stay, above and beyond what we'd need. I wish all vacation home hosts took the same thought and care into ensuring their guests are comfortable. If all vacation homes were like this one I'd never stay in a hotel ever again.

Cannot give enough praise to our host. Doreen was so kind and did everything possible for our stay to feel like home. Such a beautiful place. Clean, equipped and loved having a washer and dryer in the master. Highly recommend.

Our stay was awesome! The house is beautiful and has ample amount of space for a family! About 10 min drive to mission beach! Easy to get to! House has everything you need. I didn’t have to buy anything except for groceries, obviously! And the owner is great with communication! We would definitely stay here again!!

This was a perfect place to stay in San Diego. It was VERY close to both bay and ocean beach areas. The house was so inviting and I was able to fully relax. Doreen was friendly, responsive and literally thought of everything we might have needed!

Lovely home
The home was wonderful and so clean! The hot tub and outdoor area were an amazing area to relax after a long day. The host has thought of everything...from beach chairs, toys, coolers to shampoo, laundry soap and the goodies that she left for us. Definitely will be booking this location next time we come to San Diego. Thank you!!

The house was very clean. It was in a great location with easy access to the beach and surrounding areas. The back patio was nice to relax on and we had everything we needed. Doreen left clear instructions. She also left snacks! We would stay here again.

Great house
We spent a wonderful weekend here. The house is well maintained and clean. The beds were comfortable. We didn't cook much but there was a good assortment of kitchen necessities. There were also beach chairs, towels and an umbrella provided which was nice to have. We enjoyed the welcome package, also. It is very clear that the owner cares about being a good host and loves her home. We would definitely recommend and will stay again when we visit San Diego.

Best vacation rental I've ever been to!
It was such a nice cozy place. Dorene went above and behind to make us feel welcome and special, and was always pleasant to interact with. So many nice touches: Comfy beds, great location, two kitchenettes (not big but great to have) stuff for children/babies' washer/dryer, hot tub. The neighbor Alex was also very nice and helpful especially considering the backyard is a shared space where he lives and we were just vacationers. Everything was perfect for our needs, would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone :) thanks Dorene and Evolve!

San Diego Family Time
This rental was a wonderful place for our family reunion! It was comfortable, well stocked for all our needs, and perfect for a family stay in a quiet neighborhood with easy access to beaches, zoo, balboa park, and grocery shopping. The master suite on one end of the house was perfect for a toddler quiet nap/sleep zone while adults enjoyed the hot tub! Back yard space was clean and inviting! We enjoyed the BBQ, outside table and various relaxing lounging spaces. Our host had quick and supportive responses and had the toddler highchair and port a crib ready as promised. We are interested in returning to this comfortable home for future San Diego vacations!

Fantastic Host!
We stayed at this location with family and two small children. The host contacted us prior to arrival to get info so they were able to make the home child friendly. They supplied all kinds of comforts to make travel with little ones so easy and pleasant! There were treats waiting for us upon arrival and it was very nice to have family from out of state feel so welcome. The location is close enough to walk to beach and all kinds of downtown spots. Plenty of parking. Large comfortable outdoor space. Very clean and stocked to make travel a breeze. Definitely a 5-star rating! Thank you again Dorene!

Perfect stay in safe/quite neighborhood close to the beach
This property is very well maintained and has amazing backyard. We enjoyed our stay here. The property was kind of center for us to do both Legoland and do sight seeing around SD. The property have 3 bedrooms and one of it is on the other side of the house so we had some privacy from other family members. Dorene is an amazing host and very generous, she was also quick to respond to any of our questions. We also enjoyed the oranges from the tree in the backyard. We will def. stay here in future.

Very comfortable
Although a bit “worn” in places (mostly paint) the place was extremely comfortable and functional for my husband and I, and 2 adult children who were visiting our other son in San Diego. Very well located in a quiet neighborhood. Easy to walk to the beach area (about a mile away), and to grocery store and some restaurants. The back courtyard area was wonderful. Although it was a shared space, nobody else seemed to use it, so it seemed very private and spacious. The amenities provided (coffee, creamer, sweetener, some condiments and snacks) were very nice. Good air circulation with ceiling fans in each bedroom. Overall a great time, thanks!!

Great location with backyard paradise!
Great family getaway that sleeps 6. Close to restaurants, shopping, & Pacific Beach. House was clean & comfortable. Even better than the photos. One of the bedrooms was like a separate suite with laundry, kitchenette, bathroom, & it's own door to the backyard. Must have been a garage conversion, there are two steps down when entering it. The other two bedrooms & bath are on the other side of the home. Worked out great for us...we had the suite, so the kids & grandkids used the other two bedrooms & shared bathroom. Beautiful shared backyard with a canopy gazebo, patio furniture, & privacy fence. It's like a small tropical paradise with the plants & palm trees. It includes a nice grassy area where the little kids could play. Outdoor grill & dining area. We had a backyard cookout one night while the kids played with a glow in the dark beach ball we bought. Nice neighbors too! We saw them occasionally when they were passing through the backyard when coming or going. Our host left coffee, wine, & sweet treats for us with a hand written welcome note with some instructions. If you are looking for a comfortable, warm, & inviting place, this is it. If you want something sleek & modern go stay at a hotel. Please note for families with younger kids, the living room tables have glass tops with glass edges. To be on the safe side we actually removed the top of the coffee table & slid it under the couch to protect it till the end of our stay. 🙂
