I came to San Diego for a brief overnight trip. I booked here because of the price and reviews. Can I just say we loved staying here and decided we will definitely stay here when we come back. It’s a lil dated but most places in California are. That being said we loved it. It was clean, the staff was great, the restaurants were awesome. I can’t wait to be back.

This motel was like a trip back in time. To the 1950’s. Bed had steel springs (that squeaked), linoleum floors. Period fixtures. Not terrible, but not plush by any means. Area kind of sketchy, desk staff not very helpful once they saw I booked thru a “3rd Party”.

This is an exceptionally clean and well maintained hotel and wonderful pool! However, we were two women who needed outlets for hair and space at the sink that did not exist!! It was TINY! A couple might be fine. There is a second mirror hidden behind a TV without plugs for appliances! I had to move the dresser and unplug TV. There is a small table/chairs in corner; no lounge chair. No microwave. Very quiet. Good AC. We ran out of hot water for our showers in early morning. Parking is extra! I parked down the street. Restaurant is good for breakfast. Fan in bathroom was loud but someone fixed it. We didn’t go to lounge. Walkable to old town!

The property and rooms were very clean, the staff was nice. I love the pool and hot tub 🔥. Little italy restaurant delivers food and adult beverages to the hotel. There's two great restaurants on site which makes it super convenient. Awesome pricing👌
