Great hotel, shame about location

Hotel was really nice, and the bar tender was so good, it’s a shame the hotel is situated in a not so good area with signs warning guests about the surrounding areas. We were also accosted by the concierge who tried to get us to sign up for a 2 hour sales pitch about Marriott Holidays which we presume is some sort of timeshare thing. We are on holiday, and not wasting 2 hours listening to some sales pitch!! Needless to say we didn’t sign up for it
