My dog and I go to Ocean Beach twice a year. Always stay at Ocean Beach Hotel. Great location, dog friendly. Close to the dog beach. Great food and bars everywhere. We will be back in the spring

Great view of the ocean
Amazing location right on the beach. We come down to San Diego once a year and this was our first time specifically in Ocean Beach. The hotel couldn't be any closer to the beach! Definitely recommend getting a room with a patio or balcony. We were able to wake up, drink coffee on the balcony, and watch people surfing. Rad. The staff were also amazing. Helped us out with early check in, a room change (for the view) and held our luggage on checkout day while we killed time before heading to the airport.

Easy check in/out. Very nice view from the hotel. Area its just ok, the room was clean, very tiny and the mattress sooo uncomfortable. I don’t think I would bring little kids here.

Very convenient location with lots of dining options. Wish they had microwave oven in the room so we could bring back leftovers to reheat. Loved being able to sit and watch the surfers in the morning. We plan to return again next year

It was a great place to be near the beach. The room was clean and the staff was helpful. One suggestion would be to provide earplugs for guests as it is under the flight path for the airport takeoffs. If they don't have earplugs, I recommend that guest makes sure to bring some.
