Disappointing Surprise at Checkout
I was shocked to discover unexpected charges when checking out. I booked my stay under the impression that everything was paid in full. However, upon checkout, I was informed of additional fees that were not disclosed upfront or explained during my stay. While the hotel itself was clean and comfortable, this experience left a bad impression. Transparent pricing is a basic expectation, and I feel misled. It would be helpful if the hotel clearly outlined all potential charges during booking or check-in to avoid unpleasant surprises. Unfortunately, this issue overshadowed an otherwise pleasant stay. I’d recommend double-checking the billing details before finalizing your reservation here.

This was a business trip, and I was only there for one night, but the check in was smooth, the room was clean, the shower was great, and the view was excellent. I would stay there again, especially because of the location - right next to the convention center, and at the foot of the Gaslamp Quarter. I was very happy with the room.

Loved this hotel! Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable, the view of the bay was beautiful, and it was right next to PetCo Park! Additionally, the hotel staff were so friendly and helpful. I will now always stay here whenever visiting San Diego.
