Pacific Blue #211 is located in a 3-floor, 18 unit building across from the surf and sand. It's the perfect, central location right on the corner where Pacific Beach meets Mission Beach! This beautiful front unit is fully furnished with modern decor with an upscale, downtown feel while being right across from the beach with air conditioning! There is 1 bedroom and 1 full bath on the first floor, along with the living room, dining area and kitchen. The kitchen has rich slab granite counters, self-closing drawers and artsy cabinets, and stainless appliances. Eat-in kitchen includes bar seating for four, along with an additional formal dining area that seats six. Living room includes a plush couch and loveseat set and large flat screen TV, with modern wall art and decor as the finishing touches for this stunning living and entertaining area.

Ascend the stairs and find a small balcony, a second bedroom, full bath and the master suite. The master has a walk-in closet and sliding glass doors where you can watch the activity across the street at the Promenade, as well as a small private balcony! Master bath includes spa-type features, including luxurious double shower head (one in the ceiling and a European wand), gorgeous granite and tiling details, and a double vanity sink. The third bedroom includes a connected office space, with a bright window that sheds light on the workspace in the office. The laundry is located on this floor as well. The units are energy efficient with tank less water heater and solar electricity. There are two parking spaces in a gated garage and bicycle racks for the residents. Outside the complex, you will find coffee shops, restaurants and shopping all just steps away!

The convenient location is 2 miles from SeaWorld, 3 miles from Old Town, and just 7-9 miles from the Gaslamp District, Little Italy, and the world famous San Diego Zoo in lovely Balboa Park. Come enjoy all San Diego has to offer along with the best weather in the nation!

Therefore, some furniture or decor may differ from what is pictured because the owners needed or wanted to replace something. Professional photos are expensive and we can not re-photograph the rental every time something is changed but we do maintain the listing content with any notable furnishing changes especially related to sleeping arrangements. (*Please note: We do not give refunds because a piece of furniture or artwork has changed)

Please note: for the credit card verification, a $2 hold will be placed on the card to run the report. This hold will never process and will fall off automatically within 7 days. We like our guests to feel at home as soon as they arrive! We provide a 'starter kit' to help our guests get settled without needing to rush off to the store.

Our kits include: paper towels, toilet paper, shampoo/conditioner, soap, linens, towels, kitchen sponges, dish soap, laundry detergent and fabric softener, dishwasher soap when applicable, trash bags, either Keurig coffee makers or standard coffee makers, extra blankets, sometimes extra pillows, extra sheets-for sleeper sofas, hair dryers, ironing boards, kitchens fully stocked-enough for max occupancy with some extra settings, toasters, some waffle makers, blenders, tool kits, first aid kits, fire extinguishers, co2/fire detectors, and most homes have heat available.

While on vacation, we want our guests to enjoy their vacation to the fullest and we feel in order for our guests to do this, they should also feel informed. Our emails serve to educate you on your vacation rental home, the surrounding area, responsibilities, what to expect and how to get in touch with us. We respect your privacy so our emails help provide you with all you need to know to reference as you please.

Holiday 2024 Policy:
6 night minimum AND Saturday check-in is REQUIRED during our holiday season (December 21-January 4). One reservation CANNOT take both holidays, unless it is a 2-week reservation. There are no arrivals OR departures on Christmas or New Year's Day.

Summer 2024 Policy:
Beginning Memorial Day to Labor Day, Saturday to Saturday is required with 6-7 night reservations. On July 4th 2024, check-in or check-out is NOT permitted. An arrival on a Friday or Sunday may be possible, please inquire if your group needs accommodations that are different as we may be able to accommodate you.

Last Minute Booking Policy:
If a guest books with us directly or on any OTA such as Airbnb and VRBO, within 72 hours of arrival, verification credentials are required. By making a payment on the reservation, the guest agrees to comply with our last minute booking policy.

To properly vet a guest with such short notice requires the following; a “selfie” photo specifically of the booking guest's face and holding either a Driver's License, Passport or State ID photo under their chin. We are just looking for a name to match and the photo on the ID to match that of the person in the selfie. This can be sent by email or text to our company email address. Additionally, we need to confirm guest details such as, payment, contact information, applicable check-in time, number of guests and ages, any pets, etc.

This process is required, and if a guest refuses to comply then the reservation will be canceled. We have found this procedure to be successful in avoiding fraud, and protecting all parties! We appreciate your cooperation and we are available to help with any questions.

Nightly Minimum Policy:
4 night minimum required in the off season.
6 nights AND a Saturday Check-in is REQUIRED during peak season (June - August). Arrival on Friday or Sunday instead may be an option.

Perfect Beach Location 1 block from water
Perfectly setup and located beach condo at Pacific Beach. Listing was as described, comfy beds, well appointed kitchen and plenty of beach toys, chairs, and umbrellas and boogie boards. Plenty of restaurants across the street and like a 2min walk to the sand. Property mgr was highly responsive and helpful. Unit had two covered reserved parking spots to use behind a locked gate. I would happily stay here again.

The property worked perfect for our family of 7 for a beach getaway. Short walk to beach and many restaurants and stores. Nice to have AC. The unit looked well used and can use some updating. Maybe some new beds, but overall it hit the spot.

We rented the Vrbo property from Tue-Sun to celebrate our son's 40th. As with most properties, the place had some pros and cons. Pros: - Assigned/secure/gated garage parking - Elevator access (our son is handicapped, so this was VERY helpful!) - 3 bath/3 bed...every couple/adult had their own restroom - Clean - Comfortable beds - Open plan kitchen/living/dining - Cozy and comfortable living room furniture - Large walk-in closet in primary suite - 2nd floor W/D - 1 primary & 1 1st flr junior suite - Plenty of beach towels/toys/chairs available - Great communication w/the Nancy's Vacation Rentals - Beach access was just a 2-minute walk - Walkable neighborhood - Close to restaurants, bars, shops Cons - Close to bars, restaurants and shops...definitely a party vibe; if you're not into the party scene this can be a negative - Primary suite faces busy street...the condo is directly across the street from a busy strip mall w/bars and restaurants, which meant we had to contend w/street noise most of Friday and Saturday evening well into the early morning hours. This was not an issue during weekday evenings as the street noise tended to die down by 10:00. - Drapes in primary suite are thin and worn. Since the room faces the west, it heats up during the day. At night, the drapes do not block out the light emanating from the signage from surrounding strip mall, streetlights, and headlights. - Decor is a bit dated, worn, and tired looking and feeling - Pots/pans need to be replaced

Perfect!
Second stay at this location over the past three years. It's perfect for families who want easy beach access, bay access, restaurants/bar access, shopping, food, etc. No driving needed. Two secured parking stalls made trips to downtown SD easy to come back. No hassle parking takes the stress level go down to nothing. Unit has a massive amount of beach toys, boogie boards, chairs, etc. We could have left all our stuff in the garage back home. The unit is awesome for multiple families with 3 bedrooms/3 bathrooms. LOTS OF SPACE. Pacific Beach is rocking during July. My family loves the chaos, noise, etc. This is not the location for a quiet experience. Only issue we encountered was sanitation issues. I recommend the cleaning crew do a complete overhaul. You could tell it was a quick "once over" upon arrival. Simple fix if you asked me. Not a deal breaker at all. We took care of the cleaning day one. We rented unit for two weeks so we knew we would be cleaning constantly. I left some medication behind and Laura, property manager, was a professional in getting the meds back to me quickly. We would go back!

My family of 5 and my parents stayed. We had plenty of room. We were walking distance to the beach and a little further, but still walking distance, to the bay. Plenty of places to eat and coffee shops nearby. We had our pups with us and they did great. Not too much noise around us. Property management was great. We will use Nancy Vacation rentals again in the future.

Family Reunion California Style
First we would like to thank the owners of this property located right in the middle of the fun on Mission Beach. Also, Nancy’s Vacation Rentals did a great job communicating with me prior to our arrival and after check-in. We are a family of grandparents traveling with our two grown daughters and two grandchildren (4) (8). We were visiting my Wife’s family who reside in San Diego. The three bedrooms worked perfectly for us The futon in the third bedroom was perfect for the two small children. Everything in the unit worked as advertised! Whatever we needed for food and sundries was available at a Ralph’s full service grocery store two blocks away. There were a multitude of restaurants and beach bars, coffee shops, ice cream shops ,retail and even a CVS within a two block radius. The beach was an easy walk and there were five beach chairs and an umbrella in the condo closet. Belmont park was a short ride for an arcade and old school amusement park with wooden rollercoaster. We visited LaJolla Beach, saw the seals on the rocks, The San Diego Zoo was amazing. We visited the USS Midway Museum, the Scottish Highland Festival, a local Craft Fair downtown and Coronado Beach. Everything was easy to reach in our rental car. This was a perfect family vacation. We would stay again!

Nice place and very close to Mission Beach
Condo was as advertised. It was big enough for 4 adults and 4 kids. Really close to the beach and two parking spaces were great since there is no parking near the beach. We squeezed a Ford Explorer and Kia van in the spaces. It was tight but they fit. Only issue was the exterior code to get into the garage, the code they gave did not work. One of the residents gave me the correct code and it worked. All in all a great place and so much to do.

Close to beach but far from perfect
Pros: - most comfortable beds I’ve ever sleep in - very close to the beach - checkin process was great - Instructions we’re very clear and thought out and easy to follow - covered Parking was great (if you have two cars - the spots are very close together) - The hot water was very hot (hard to control temp but we had no issues) - the place had a lot more that starter supplies. We didn’t have to buy any supplies. - towels and bedding were very soft!! Cons: - they sent multiple emails and notices about how strict they are about not being loud or noisy and how they strictly enforce it. But they left out the fact that a very loud bar (playing loud music until about 2 am) is across the street. - we found multiple bugs (silverfish and spiders) we had to kill - the air conditioning does not work..if you like being hot this place is great. - it’s dirty (we had to wipe down and clean the place when we got there - light switches were black - tons of dirts in corner by toilet - the area feels questionably safe at night (compared to an upscale area a few miles up the road) - curtains are almost see through in master upstairs bedroom

Perfect location
Great location couldn't beat being able to walk to everything you possibly needed. Communication with the rental company was great. Only downside is the AC doesn't work at all and there was never any hot water. Even after they came and fixed it. It has a tankless HWH that can only be used by 1 fixture or it will turn off then cold water showers.

We loved the place and it was in great proximity to some great restaurants and a couple of blocks away from the beach. The unit contained body surfboards and other beach accessories. We did have a slight glitch when we first arrived, but it was taken care of in a fairly reasonable amount of time. We thought this was a four-bedroom unit and we were a bit taken aback to find out it was a three-bedroom. We will have to take more time to carefully review the advertising next time. Nevertheless, we all agreed we would stay here again. Televisions all the bedrooms would have been nice.

Great location for a family gathering. Located a block from the beach with lots of restaurants and bars for night life. Place was clean and presentable and when we had any issues they were right on it too fix it . Definitely would stay again!
