They’ve done a nice job updating an old property. Very comfortable beds and rooms. The staff is beyond friendly. You can’t beat the location and having the pool deck right there is a great bonus. Would definitely stay here again.

We recently stayed at the Wayfarer for 3 nights. Great location!! Staff was very accommodating when we had a small hiccup with our 1st room they immediately moved us to another room with an even better view as our 1st room. Would stay here again!

The beach is beautiful and I enjoyed the pool area. I was unimpressed by the business itself. The free wifi is basic and they charge a per/day fee for better internet. Also, I was charged twice for my stay. The employee at the desk was helpful at correcting the mistake but it should not have happened in the first place.

My wife and I are regulars at the Wayfarer and have stayed here multiple times a year. The location is perfect, particularly the oceanfront rooms (which is what we always choose when staying here). There is now a mobile pre-check in process and check-out process, which makes it even more convenient. Staff is always friendly and accessible. A couple of quirks this trip that kept it from being 5 stars this time around: 1. Air Conditioning Unit - In room 361, the unit was blowing air, but not cold air. We left it running for 1.5 hours (with the doors closed), but the room temperature actually got a little warmer. We contacted front desk, who sent for maintenance. Maintenance came very quickly (within 10 minutes) and checked on the unit and on the roof. He returned and said the unit was working, after putting his hand up to the vent. However, the air output was only marginally better and we ended up having to sleep with the balcony door open as it was considerably cooler outside. Given that it is winter, this was okay for us but as we have stayed here multiple times, we know how cold the AC can and should be in these rooms. I would suggest that the Wayfarer re-evaluate the AC unit in room 361 (and even consider replacing it if needed) as this will be intolerable for guests in the summer. 2. Parking garage - The downramp into the garage, both northside and southside, still cause scraping of the bottom of your car when entering/exiting. This should be repaired..
