The property was conveniently in the middle of everything, its a quick trip to Japantown or Chinatown, and there's the cute Macy's Christmas tree right there. Public transport it easy there too. CVS is right next door if you want snacks and water for the room.

Check in was easy, room was nice. I was not happy with the $62/night parking they offered. I couldve stayed a higher end hotel that included parking with the total i paid. Firat and last stay here.

Perfect location
We enjoyed our stay for party of 4. 2 kids aged 5 and 8. The handlery’s location is perfect. We wanted to be close to union square and just walking distance to the fairmont, rotunda and the palace hotels. Their hotel room prices are affordable for san francisco location. Im impressed. Its also right beside the westin st francis. We stayed overnight to enjoy christmas lights and festivities in the area and we did not want to spend 300-400$ for annovernight stay. Again They are very affordable, place is safe and so is there onsite valet parking. It was covered and 62$ per day. I highly recommend this hotel. Its clean as well and nice staff. We will come back for our next sf trip.

Best hotel, great price.
Everything was so great. Check-in was a breeze. Very helpful. We received a 20% off at Mason Cafe for breakfast, the food was yummy 😋 and the waiters were happy and friendly. We went both Saturday and Sunday because it was a great restaurant. Bad part is they are inly open until 2pm. We will book this hotel again

For being an older property everything seemed to be in good working order. Our 5th floor Premier Queen/Queen room was very spacious with a cool view of the pool. Upon checking in both our bellman and front desk agent were very friendly (along with the 3rd party parking attendant). We will definitely be back next year!
