This is my third or fourth stay here and the plusses are free parking, pretty clean, walkable to corner stores and restaurants, and there is a Walgreen's down the street. I see that they fixed the leaking shower issue where water was leaking out of the door while showering so that is good. The property is pretty loud. You can easily hear people walking in the room above you or if they are on the walkways, especially if they are rolling luggage. The cleaning carts are especially loud so bring some ear plugs or noise cancelling headphones if you want to sleep in. The road noise can be loud to as Lombard is a busy thoroughfare to get to the GGB. For Room 207 specifically, the fan was noisy. There was also another noise that was happening frequently on the other side of the wall and it was a cross between a foghorn and a machine and lasted maybe 20-30 seconds. I don't know what it was but it was loud and intrusive. I wouldn't stay in this room again. Overall a decent stay for an overnight if you can overlook the noise.

Great location, good value

La Casa was a good value, especially considering the great location within walking distance of Fort Mason, Marina Green, Polk Gulch, etc. Desk attendant held a parking space for me even though I arrived very late for the airport. Much appreciated.

Clean, modern, and convenient. Close to all the parts of SF you could want to visit. The street noise was a bit audible at night in our room but that was to be expected in the city. Front desk worker was friendly and provided great directions. The free parking was great; we were warned the lot may fill up at night since it was limited but we had no troubles getting a spot when we needed it. Be sure to check out the view from the roof before you leave! Will be our new go to hotel when visiting SF.

A place that looks a little tired but what a surprise when you get to your room. All have been decorated nicely, very large room for the area and plenty of storage in the room as well. Parking was easy, plenty of restaurants in walking distance. Handy little supermarket across the road. Staff were pleasant. This place gets great reviews and now I know why. Highly recommend La Casa Inn!!

Nicely refurbished property with some service hiccups (no big deal), the TV had some satellite dish glitches. Free parking but there is no breakfast.

We checked in and I noticed the coffee table was dirty. Not a big deal but I grabbed a wet wipe from a friend and we left for the day. It wast until we noticed how all the surfaces suck as the sink counter, baseboard, most of the walls and doors were dusty and dirty. I reported this to the front desk and he reported there was nothing he could do and he did not know what time the managers come in the next day. Unfortunately, do to previous engagements I have not been able to follow up. But it’s not fair to have a dirty room with such visible dirt and hair in the showers and throughout the room. Very disappointing. Housekeeping came but they didn’t clean at all. So this means the front desk didn’t communicate to them the issues at all. I’ll never come back.

I had a great stay here! The location is superb- we had a rental, but opted to stay in the Marina District and walked everywhere! There are so many bodegas nearby, breakfast at Pats Cafe and dinner at Bobob’s, both were delish! We walked to Pier 33 for an Alcatraz tour. The hotel was nicely decorated, and the room was spacious (we got the king/queen couch bed combo) The bed is comfy and the water pressure was nice. Cons: The elevator was broken, but the added exercise climbing the stairs was okay. The cleaning product they use is very strong and the scent was overpowering—I could taste it 😅 I got some incense from a nearby bodega and opened the window, it helped tremendously! I can’t wait to return, I’d for sure stay here again!

Remodeled affordable hotel with free parking

The hotel was incredibly accommodating. We were there for an emergency medical situation and the hotel helped to work around different difficulties to make it an easy stay. The hotel is beautifully remodeled. I felt safe, no matter what time I returned to my room. There was free parking. I will stay again when I am in the city
